Stella was born on February 2, 2026, and began her journey in Texas alongside her mom and five siblings. After a big adventure flying to her new home, she’s settling in beautifully. Three of her siblings have already found families, and her mom is in the process of being adopted too. This sweet girl is already showing how smart she is—she’s doing great with housebreaking, with only one accident in the past two days. Stella is a happy, bouncy pup who balances her playful energy with plenty of cozy naps and cuddle time. She responds well to gentle corrections and is quick to learn routines, even letting you know when it’s time to go potty. Stella is a bright, loving puppy with a wonderful start and an even brighter future ahead.

Meet Howie 🐾 Howie is a Cane Corso mix with a gentle soul who’s still learning that the world can be a safe and loving place. He came to us at around 8 months old alongside four of his littermates, and it’s clear he didn’t get much early socialization. Because of this, Howie is extremely timid and can be unsure in new situations or around unfamiliar people. Despite his shyness, there’s a sweet, sensitive dog just waiting to blossom. Howie will need a patient and understanding adopter who’s willing to move at his pace and help him build confidence through positive experiences. With time, consistency, and kindness, he has so much potential to grow into a loyal and devoted companion. Howie is currently awaiting his neuter surgery, and our hope is to have a home lined up so he can smoothly transition into his new life once he’s ready. He is located in the Pittsburgh area and is looking for a calm, supportive environment where he can truly come out of his shell. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. 2nd Chance 4 Life Rescue is primarily a sanctuary for senior and medically needy dogs. Every once in awhile you will see younger dogs but for the most part our dogs live out their life at the ranch at the request of their previous owners or their owners families. We have many sponsorship dogs. Our sponsors love to keep in touch and know how their sponsored fur buddy is doing :) When we have foster families we are thrilled to be able to take adoptable younger dogs :) So if you have ever thought about becoming fosters please feel free to go to our foster/volunteer page and fill out an application. The Ranch located at 737 Taylor Rd., Windsor, PA is always looking for dedicated volunteers that will commit to at least a 2 hour shift per week at the rescue. Volunteers work in play yards, help with laundry and feeding. Some enjoy landscaping or carpentry projects and some like to bake for the healing center visitors :) Thank you for supporting our mission of caring for the elderly and medically needy souls that need us! Buddy is currently in a foster home and is doing amazing! His foster family says he's a total love-bug and he has so much energy. He is learning basic training and has come such a long way! He will definitely need an active family. Buddy is super sweet and he adores everyone he meets!
