Hi there, I’m Athena, a big, beautiful Mastiff girl with an even bigger heart. At 97 pounds, I may look like a lot of dog, but don’t let my size fool you, I’m a gentle soul through and through. I’m 5 years old, spayed, and I’ve already mastered one of life’s great skills, being calm, easygoing, and wonderful company. My story started a little uncertainly when I came to a shelter as a stray, but the kind people at Happy Bark brought me in and gave me the fresh start I deserve. Now I’m ready to find a family of my very own, one that will love me for the sweet, steady girl I am. I’m the kind of dog who makes life feel a little softer and a little sweeter. I have great leash manners, so taking me for a walk is a breeze. I’m housebroken, which means I know how to be a polite lady in the home. I also enjoy a good game of fetch, because every now and then even a dignified gal like me likes to let loose and have some fun. If you are looking for a loyal companion with a calm nature, loving eyes, and a heart as big as her paws, I just might be your girl. I would love a home where I can be by your side, join you for walks, play a little, then settle in for the kind of quiet companionship Mastiffs do best. Athena's adoption fee is $275.
