Story
Hi, my name is Max, Male - neuteredMastiff St. Bernard MixApprox. 1 year oldI'm a cheerful and lovable goofball, sometimes blissfully unaware of my size, but in the best possible way. I certainly know how to pose for a treat, though let's be honest-I'm always a sight to behold! I love going for walks and bringing along my favorite stuffed toy for the journey. If you want to play outside, just look at my tail wagging high with excitement! During my time in care, I've had the chance to join doggy play groups, which I absolutely adore. I enjoy the company of my fellow furry friends, although I have yet to meet any feline companions. Primary Color: White Secondary Color: Brindle Weight: 36 Age: 1yrs 1mths 1wks

Story
GABE / 4yrs 10m / Male / Mastiff Mix / 97 lbs (44 kg) / Currently fostered in Burlington Good with dogs and older kids / Untested with cats / House Trained Meet Gabe, a loyal beautiful boy with a big heart to match his 100-pound frame. Poor Gabe was dumped at a shelter and quickly became a fan favourite with all of the staff. He’s a smart, strong pup who enjoys walks, snacks, and spending time with people he trusts. Gabe is a perfect mix of playful and chill. He loves getting outside for a stroll and enjoys games that make him think—especially if treats are involved! He’s very food motivated, which makes training a lot easier. Whether it’s learning a new trick or solving a puzzle toy, Gabe is happiest when his mind and body are both busy. Once those needs are met, the couch is where you will find him snoring away. He gets along well with other dogs and might do great with a dog buddy in his new home. He hasn’t met any cats yet, and because he’s still learning how to control his excitement, a home without young kids would be best. If you’re an experienced dog owner looking for a fun-loving companion, Gabe is your guy! At almost five years old, Gabe still believes he’s a toddler and sometimes forgets his manners when excitement takes over. When the energy kicks in, he may use his mouth to play roughly. He's a dog who thrives on consistency, structure, routine and clear boundaries. If you’re ready to help Gabe channel his playful spirit into well-mannered fun, he’ll thank you with all the love his big heart has to offer! Gabe has been waiting for so long, to meet his forever person, with his adorable big dog energy, and his warm kind spirit, could that person be you? Ready to connect with Gabe?
