Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.    PLEASE NOTE: GPMR communicates primarily by email.  If you have any questions regarding one of our Mastiffs, please read their bio and if you still have questions - drop us an email at GPMastiffRescue@gmail.com.  If you have questions about our adoption procedures, please go to our page called 'Adoption Info.'  We answer email inquiries daily.    GPMR does not have a shelter. All of our dogs are kept in loving foster homes. We must have a completed adoption application on file before meeting any of our mastiffs.    GPMR adopts to the states of Oklahoma, Texas, Kansas, Arkansas, Missouri, Louisiana and parts of Colorado.  !!!Any mastiffs being adopted out of the state of Oklahoma require a health certificate to be paid for by the adopter!!!       Meet Lottie! This young pup was being given away with another dog for free on Facebook. One of our partner rescues was able to get her safe and then she came to GPMR to help find her forever family. Lottie is estimated at about 5 months old. She has started her vaccines and is getting boosters here soon. We don't know that she had seen a vet before and so we got those vaccines started right away. She appears to be in good health other than a urinary tract infection she had when we got her which has been treated. However she does urinate when she's either very excited or scared of something. This is usually something that resolves with confidence building exercises and training, and her adoptive family will need to be patient with her on this. Lottie is good with other dogs but a little shy with new dogs she's just meeting. This should easily improve with socialization which it doesn't appear she had much of in her previous life. Her new family will be required to take her through a puppy training class to continue the basic training we've started and help her with meeting other dogs. She has not been evaluated with cats. Lottie likes to snuggle with her people and her fosters feel she would do just fine with dog saavy kids. Lottie is being fostered in Yukon, OK.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.Save a Mastiff...Adopt, Foster, Volunteer!May 18, 2025, 3:27 pm

Story
If you’re looking for a devoted companion who will love you unconditionally Opal is the perfect fit, she has waited far too long for someone to give her a chance!! Opal is a gentle five year old Mastiff/black mouth cur mix who thrives on human companionship and would make the perfect loyal and affectionate best friend! She is a calm, outgoing, and incredibly sweet girl who would love a home with kids where she can spend her days getting all the cuddles possible. Opal is always eager to please, she is a very well mannered girl who knows basic commands, walks great on a leash, listens very well, and she is fully house/kennel trained. This precious girl has so much love to give but she needs a forever home where she can be the only pet. Opal is spayed, up to date on vaccines and flea/tick/heartworm prevention, heartworm tested negative. Opal’s adoption fee has been sponsored so she is FREE to a loving home!
