Story
We are seeking a loving new home for our dear Roxie, a 3-year-old spayed Mastiff-Rottweiler mix. She is updated on most vaccinations and has a DNA test completed. Roxie is potty trained and has been with us since she was 8 weeks old. Also, you don’t have to worry about being knocked over by Roxie she does not jump on people. Roxie is incredibly lovable and believes she’s a lap dog! She’s a perfect family pet, great with kids, other dogs, and even cats. Unfortunately, we need to find her a new home due to the arrival of our baby and some personal reasons. We truly hope to find a caring family that can provide her with the love and attention she deserves. We’re asking for a rehoming fee of $50 to ensure she goes to a responsible home. If you’re interested in welcoming Roxie into your family, please message me. Location: Kettering, OH

Story
Looking for love and a great home. Garnet is a super sweet big lug of a mastiff.  Garnets house burnt down December 27, 2022 and he was so badly burned no one was sure if we could save him.  We felt really bad for him and his owner, so we cared for Garnet while getting him well. It took 6 months of horrible pain stacking medical Care. He is great now but he will be scared for life but looks great.  His owner rebuilt and wanted him back.  Now she has decided it would be better for him for us to find him a loving home.  He is truely a very special guy.   Garnets date of birth September 17, 2020. Garnet is fawn with a black mask.  He is up to date on vaccines, on heartworm prevention, micro chipped with Home Again  he is well enough to be neutered and that happens on 11-28-23. We do not have any pictures of his after he was healed as good as he gets. We lost all  the pictures but we have pictures of his long six months of Recovery.  If you have room in your heart and home for this sweet boy or any of our other wonderful, beautiful babies please email Miracle House Animal Rescue and we will send you our adoption questionnaire: miraclehouserescue@gmail.com. We are located just east of Cincinnati, Ohio, out Route 32, in Brown County. We work by appointment only, after you are approved.

Story
Meet Angel, she is a 4 year old mastiff and she is looking for love. Angel is spayed, up to date in vaccine, on heartworm prevention and Micro chipped with Home Again. After fire destroyed Angel's and Garnet's home on 12-27-22, Angel ran into the woods and was lost for 7 days. Their own had just lost everything and ask if we could save and care for them until she was able to have a place for them. On 12-29-22 I got Garnet to foster in my home. On 1-5-23 Debbie and Dan were kind enough to foster Angel in their home. After 6 months Garnet was finally well enough and their owner now had a place for them and took them back home. Soon after their owner decided to give us Garnet to us find him a great home and now she is giving us Angel to find her a great home. After the fire while scared and lost poor Angel clearly did not find food or water, she was so weak she could barely raise her head. As soon as we got Angel we took her right to our vets office., where Angel got a good exam and CBC/chem. Fortunately, her blood work was all good. She needs to be fed several smaller meals each day, to let her body adjust and get the pounds back on. She was covered in ticks and was treated for that too. Angel missed her monthly heartworm prevention on the first of the month, but it was close enough that she got it today. One of her eyes was treated for a minor injury. A few days after we got her she got sick and tested positive for lyme disease. Angel was treated for the lyne disease and did great. We can't believe she was not burnt like poor Garnet but thank to Garnet for putting her behind him and protecting her. Of corse Angel is fine now. The pictures are old pictures of Angel the day we got her, when we were in the garage at our vets office picking ticks off of her. 2 pictures from Angel's mother. Will will get new pictures of Angel as soon as she is here. We are 100% all volunteer, 501(c)3 charity. We are a foster based Rescue and we work by appointment only after you are approved. Located just east of Cincinnati in Clermont, Brown and Adam Counties. miraclehouserescue@gmail.com

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Fill out an Adoption Application HEADLINER: Izzabella aka Izzy. HISTORY: One owner who did not provide basic medical care so Izzy lived many year with out of control skin issues, ear infections, UTI’s, etc. PERSONALITY: Izzy is a sweet, friendly girl that loves meeting new people and welcoming them into the house. She loves attention and affection and will lean in hard for pets and ear scratches. She tends to spend her days snoozing away but when she gets the zoomies she takes them seriously and this girl can move despite her age.  She lives peacefully with a 60lb male mixed breed but is reactive when seeing dogs out on a walk. Izzy is a bit fearful of fireworks and thunderstorms and will sometimes get spooked by loud noises. Izzy likes things to happen on her own personal timeline and can be stubborn when they don’t. She will test limits by whining and carrying on (dancing around, stomping her feet, wagging her tail furiously while staring at you) to try to get her way. She’s learning that those things don’t work in our house but it’s hard not to laugh at her antics. She’ll do it to the other dog in the house too when he’s laying in a bed that she wants. She usually gets her way with the dog.  FAVORITE ACTIVITIES: Napping, soaking up love and attention, laying in the sun MEDICAL ISSUES: With vet care and a quality diet Izzy’s skin issues and ear infections have cleared up and she is no longer a big itchy mess. She did have a mammary tumor removed while being spayed. She is not currently on any medications. WHAT WOULD BE THE BEST KIND OF HOME: Izzy enjoys hanging out with her people, so a family that spends a lot of time around the house/yard/garden would be great for her. Once integrated with another dog she is very polite and respectful but she definitely needs slow introductions to new dogs. Application Fees, Adoption Donations and Rescue Policy: Please know that 100% of our fees and donations pay for the costs of rescuing dogs. These include but are not limited to pull fees from shelters, veterinary examinations, vaccinations, medications and care, microchips, neuter/spay surgeries, heartworm treatments, behavior evaluations, and foster care, as needed. Important notes before applying. Adopters must have their primary residence in one of the following states: Pennsylvania, Ohio, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, West Virginia, Virginia, and parts of North Carolina. We will not adopt giant breed dogs to renters. Homes with children under 6 years of age will not be approved for adoption. Homes with children should have a fenced yard. Pets currently in the applicant's home must have a history of appropriate veterinary care. Homes with intact dogs will not be approved for adoption.  Proof of any of the following exceptions is required: The intact dog is a working member of a law enforcement, or search and rescue/recovery team. The intact dog is registered under the auspices of the American Kennel Club and is actively being shown. A veterinarian has determined the sterilization procedure would harm the intact dog.  We believe in Force Free Training Methods and do not approve of methods or devices using pain or force to control the dog, or to deter undesirable behavior.  Homes with highly varnished steps must have carpeting, securely fixed stair treads, or a non-skid surface. **We encourage you to remediate potential safety issues while your application is under review, prior to the home visit.
