She lets out a bark or two while dancing around between you and her ‘safe’ place, signifying that she is curious about you and wants to learn more about you but isn’t quite brave enough to make that leap. That said, she loves treats. She will approach with/for treats. If there is a furry friend with you, she approaches quickly as well. She loves fellow canines 😊 Once Ariel determines that you can be a fiend, she is warm, loving, happy and extroverted as can be. She will bring you toys (stuffies are her favorite, and ball) to play and share. She likes to carry them in her mouth to show them off to you. She grins from ear to ear with a wiggly butt when you give her attention and fuss over her. Ariel loves playing and running around with dogs. She can be a little vocal when playing 😊 Ariel walks well on a leash. She pulls towards the end of the walk if she knows her walk routine and that treats/food is waiting at the end of the walk. She can’t wait to get the post walk reward! She barks at dinnertime to remind you to feed her on time 😊 Ariel benefits from a slow feeder.   Ariel is 2 years old, an 80lb South African Mastiff. Ariel is looking for a home with resident dog(s) and older kids. A home with an enclosed yard is on her wish list as she loves to zip around the yard with her siblings. Outside time is her favorite 😊 Ariel is best in a quiet home as she does not like loud noises, especially people yelling at or talking loudly with each other. Ariel is a sweet, kind, and gentle soul. She can be nervous in new situations and prefers a slow introduction to new places to give her the confidence to navigate the world around her. Maeve is nervous with new dogs so she would need a slow introduction to see if she`d be a good fit, but she may enjoy being the only dog in her forever home.
