Gentle (ish) giant alert! Meet Mullet, a 77 pound baby who loves neck scritches, belly rubs and wrestling! He takes treats as if your hands were made of glass and leans in for neck rubs until he eventually slides down onto the floor to show off his belly. Mullet is here at the shelter looking for a forever home. Our staff would love to introduce you! If you have other dogs in the home, we would set up a time for them to safely meet here at the shelter before proceeding. Stop in soon before someone else scoops him up! UPDATE: 20-Jan-2025: Hank is now housed and available at Herkimer County Humane Society Hank is approximately 3.5 years of age. I adopted him from Herkimer county humane society in August of 2024. He is a huge love bug. I have not had him around young children, but was involved with a late stage dementia senior. The goof will block your walking space just to get some loving. Great snuggler. Some St Bernard slobber. Learns his boundaries but will allow his nose to create wandering. Is weary of strange males until he feels that male is a safe person. Decent leash manners. Local rehoming includes his crate ( Jumbo). Extremely good natured for bathing at the local Dog Wash facility. Great boy to also take for walks to create a coyote perimeter!
