Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Hi! My name is Juliana! I'm about 3 years old, 78 lbs. and housetrained. I am timid though, so I need a special home, one with another dog (or dogs), a fenced in yard and really patient people. I'm so lucky to have a great foster home but I know my  FUR ever family is out there somewhere. Julianna is spayed, microchipped, and vaccinated.  See Juliana playing here:  https://www.facebook.com/NJSHPR/videos/703925398009073 If you are interested, submit an application at njshpetrescue.org * You must live within 90 minutes of Chester NJ to be considered as an in-person home visit is required for all adoptions. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.December 19, 2024, 1:21 pm

Story
*Beau is in foster in Puerto Rico, and will be flown to his chosen family, included in the adoption fee* Meet Beau! Beau is a playful, outgoing dog looking for his forever home! This guy was abandoned with his buddy Arrow (currently in WA foster) and while they came from the same home, they’re both so adaptable and social that they can be adopted separately. Beau is a two-year-old with a warm tan coat and a heart full of love! He's an active, friendly guy who loves exploring, cuddles, and meeting new people. He's very dog friendly, but cats are chase material, so not a good match for him. He's a great mix of "looks like a big dog" for protection, but he's just a mush. :) Beau is sure to brighten up any home with his joyful spirit. Beau is well-adjusted, affectionate, and great with people and other dogs. He's also great on a leash and enjoys walks / runs. He currently weighs 57 lbs, is neutered, and will only get bigger if he talks you out of too many snacks. :) He's a true "plug and play" addition to your family. Beau is sure to make loyal, loving companion in his new home. Could you be his perfect match? Apply today, as his adoption fee includes the cost incurred by PRDF to send him to his new home. Story
Dog:Beatrice Age:1-2 Weight: 100lbs Location: Bucks County Nicknames: Bea Good with other dogs?: Dog selective.Beatrice gets along with our young, submissive American Bulldog, but has been a bit bossy and protective about sharing toys or bones. She has been able to share beds, and spaces without an issue. Would probably be best as an only dog, or as the sibling to a submissive male who does not care about toys. She is a bit obnoxious when seeing other dogs while on walks, but if she meets them, and they are calm, its not an issue. She has been going on our pack walks and doing well. Good with cats? unknown, will not be adopted to a home with a cat Good with children? unknown, will not be adopted to a home with kids under 10 Activity Preference: Low maintenance overall but needs quality outside time. IQ: Smart Beatrice's favorite things: Beatrice is so sweet! She loves spending time with her people while cuddling on the couch. She Loves belly rubs, chewing bones, and playing with toys. She will throw her toys in the air and pounce on them to play. Beatrice is good at: meeting people, behaving in the house, going for car rides, making me feel safe, cuddling, playing Ideal home: someone at home most of the day, a fenced yard Training Needs: socialization with dogs, leash training, needs obedience training Health issues: Meet Beatrice Beatrice is a beautiful, big mastiff type girl. She will do best in a home with people who are experienced in handling a very large, strong, powerful and a bit stubborn dog. She is BIG! She would do best with a family who works from home or will not leave her for long periods of time. She has big bark and is not afraid to use it! She is so sweet with every person she meets. She has not issues with her foster parents taking toys or food away from her.She was a stray taken to ACCT in philly and has been adjusting to life in a foster home with a yard and foster sibling. She is BIG! She does really well going to the bathroom outside, but has had a few accidents. She does not love the crate, in fact she has escaped from two. We have been slowly getting her used to a special, heavy duty crate. She would however, prefer to be left out of the crate if possible.   We think Beatrice is either a Boerboel or a Bullmastiff.   PLEASE READ: Adopters will not be considered without completing an application. Please visit www.AmericanBulldogRescue.org to apply! Remember - Adoption is always the best option! If you can't help by adopting a homeless pet, please consider making a tax-deductible donation to American Bulldog Rescue, 4 Terry Drive, Suite 1D Newtown, PA 18940 or paypal AmericanBulldogRescue@verizon.net. We cannot place dogs in homes with children under 10 unless that dog has lived with kids or is in a foster home with kids. Story
Meet Lola Danforth! Such a sweet young lady. Lola is a nearly 7-month-old supermutt mix! We aren’t sure what is in her breed mix, but she seems to be pretty large for a puppy and we think she has some mastiff in her as well as pitbull terrier or american staffordshire terrier! She is currently about 55 pounds and could possibly grow close to 100 pounds. She is perfectly crate trained and will use Potty Pads if needed. She is also working on her leash training. She has been raised around dogs, and children, she will probably be fine with Cats as well, but has not been around them. Lola and her brother were found on the side of a busy rural road by her foster mom, they are lucky to be alive! Lola is ready to go to her forever home! Please put in an application as soon as possible, if you are interested in adopting Lola, she is waiting for you. Interested in becoming a forever home to Lola Danforth? Fill out our online adoption application: http://www.friendswithfourpaws.org/adoption-form.html This is the first step in our process, and we don't go any further without an application. Find more adoptable pets, news and information on Instagram @friendswithfourpaws or our Facebook page Friends with Four Paws . We put a lot of time and energy into processing our adoptions to find our babies the best fit home for them and you. Please do not submit an application if you are not serious about adopting Lola Danforth. We are so excited to work with you to find you a new forever friend, and Lola Danforth, the perfect forever home, and appreciate you working with us. For immediate consideration, please attach your application to the initial inquiry to help us expedite the process. Our adoption fee is $525. This includes their spay/neuter surgery, full (age appropriate) vaccinations, microchip insertion and registration, deworming, heartworm testing and prevention, flea and tick prevention and travel expenses. All of our dogs are rescued from local shelters and the general public. Each dog is then placed in a foster home where he/she is kept for quarantine, to ensure if the dog gets sick it can receive proper treatment. We have foster homes in the NJ/NY area waiting to receive their fosters. Once an animal has received an application or there's an adopter interested, we make arrangements for transport. If a dog is already in foster care in NYC/NJ, an adopter will be put in touch with the foster home AFTER an application is being processed. Thank you in advance for your patience with our process and for making adoption YOUR option!
