Story
Nova is a sweet and sassy, mixed-breed puppy, born 02/04/2024.  She is completely deaf.  She is in a foster home with dogs and kids and loves them all! We believe Nova was born fully deaf, and this was confirmed by her vet.  Nova is working on learning hand gestures for 'outside', 'sit' and 'lie down'. She is super smart and treat motivated so she's catching on quickly! Nova loves other dogs, but has no sense of warning cues so she must be supervised closely and have dogs with high tolerance for puppy shenanigans.  The ideal home for Nova would be with someone with previous experience with deaf dogs.  An alternative would be a home with someone who is home most of the time to monitor Nova’s wellbeing.  Nova will need a fully fenced yard as she is very unaware of dangers and warnings — and she loves to explore and chase moving things.   As we learn more, we will be sure and update her needs so stay tuned! The suggested adoption fee for Nova is $415.  Bullies-N-Beyond is a 501(c)3, non-profit corporation that is 100% volunteer operated. Adoption donation fees are the primary source of funding for the cost of veterinary care for our animals. All dogs adopted through BNBR will have been administered their age appropriate vaccines which may include DHPP, Rabies, Lepto and Bordetella. All dogs will also be adopted out as already altered if of age, for those not of age, a voucher will be provided. The adoptions for all of our animals will take place in the Omaha, NE area and must be done by the adoptive family in person. We do not ship or deliver. BNBR does not adopt on a first serve basis. All available dogs are adopted based on their needs to provide the best fit home. ##2013882##

Story
Roosevelt, born 10/01/2022, is a handsome Mastiff/Boxer mix. He is hunk of love weighing in at 70 lbs. He gets along well with other dogs and kids, and we imagine he'd be just fine with cats too. Keep in mind that he is big and he has the Boxer "paw smack" going on which can seem intimidating, but overall he is pretty shy and timid. Once he warms up his playful side comes out and he will be a loving addition to some lucky family out there! When Roosevelt first arrived at his foster home he had some separation anxiety but as he decompressed and began to feel safe those behaviors subsided within a week. His new owners should be prepared for a short adjustment period when he moves to his forever home but his foster mom is ready and willing to help with the transition however she can to make it go smoothly for everyone!  The suggested adoption fee for Roosevelt is $365. Story
Meet Evie, a loving and loyal gal who is looking for her forever home (mixed Mastiff, born 12/2018). She has been rescued and rehomed a few times at no fault of her own - and she's ready to settle down and grow old with a forever family that is able to give her all the love she deserves. Evie loves kids, snuggles, and spending time outside. Not only is she a sweetie - she's a genius! Evie is leash-trained, kennel-trained, potty-trained, and knows basic commands (sit, stay, etc.) She needs a fenced yard with room to run around. Evid would do great in a home where she's the only pet and with someone who has plenty of love to share. Apply to adopt Evie today!  The suggested adoption donation for Evie is $375, which includes a lifetime of free relationship-based training for any behavioral problems (not obedience training). Muddy Paws is a 501c3 non-profit organization meaning that part of your donation MAY be TAX DEDUCTIBLE. We are a 100% volunteer rescue committed to giving animals a second chance at life. All donations go toward that mission. Adoption fees are the primary source of funding for the cost of veterinary care for our animals. In 2022 alone, we provided animal Healthcare totaling over $399,000 covered mainly through adoption fees. Please Note:  A Courtesy Post designates that an animal is still in the home of its owner and not in a Muddy Paws foster. This means that our exposure to the animal is limited since we only assist the owner in finding a new home for their pet. From time to time owner,s find a new furever home for their pets outside of Muddy Paws Last Chance Rescue, and there is a delay in removing them from our site. We apologize if the Courtesy Post you apply to adopt is unavailable for adoption. Information about the adoption process:  All adoptions require a completed ADOPTION APPLICATION. Once your application has completed our prescreen steps, we will put you in touch with the animal’s foster to see if you and the pet are a good match. If so, we will arrange a meeting for you and the animal. The adoptions for all of our animals will take place in the Omaha, NE area and must be done by the adoptive family in person. We do not ship or deliver. Please Note:  We are a RESCUE, which is different from a shelter. We conduct veterinary and personal reference checks, and a Home Visit (Virtual in some cases) during the application approval process. We always select the right applicant for each animal, based on the animal’s needs. If you and the animal are not a good match, we will help you select another animal, or we will keep your approved application on file for 6 months. Story
Looking to rehome our baby... as much as she is family to us we are not home enough with having 4 children to give her the love and time she needs. She is a 6 year old mastiff mixed She is fixed. She is not up to date on her shots She is amazing around children Very submissive and productive of her family Kennel trained/goes outside on her lead leash She hates storms and the 4th of July so she would need extra love during that time. She loves cuddles and belly rubs 😍 💕 Due to her being so protective she does not get along well with other animals.
