He was left behind when his owners moved out. Very affectionate. He looks like a goofy, kind of floppy hound dog as he ambles around. He’s sweet and affectionate. Gets along with most dogs. He’s a little bossy with food especially with a timid dog. Feeding in a crate solves that. Loves his play time in the yard with two stout dogs. Great on a leash. The Adoption Fee Includes Age-Appropriate Vaccinations (DA2PPV, Bordetella, Rabies), Deworming, Spay/Neuter, Microchip, Flea, Tick and Heartworm Treatment and Prevention, and Sheltering. Adult Dogs are Heartworm Tested and Treated as Needed. Tanner's adoption fee (if picked up locally in Crossville, Tennessee) is $225. If transport is needed, his adoption fee is $525 (out of state, East Coast, Great Lakes or New England regions).Thank You for Your Interest in Adopting a Canine Companion from Foccas-tn.org!To Apply Please Copy and Paste to Your Browser:https://service.sheltermanager.com/asmservice?account=hb2428&method=online_form_html&formid=41LOCATED IN CROSSVILLE, CUMBERLAND COUNTY, TN. Story
Meet Tassels: A Gentle Giant with a Heart of Gold Introducing Tassels, also lovingly called Mumma by her fosters, a majestic 1.5-year-old Mastiff/Mountain Cur mix whose journey to happiness is truly inspiring. Rescued from a life of uncertainty while extremely pregnant and terrified, Tassels has shown incredible resilience. She was elusive for over a year, only seen on a Ring camera in the Detroit neighborhood she roamed, until we finally secured her safety. Since then, she has blossomed in foster care, watching her babies find their forever homes. Now, it's her turn! Why Tassels is Special: Loving and Affectionate: Tassels expresses her love by placing her massive head in your lap or under your hand for scratches. Her affectionate nature makes her a wonderful companion. Well-Trained and Mannered: She knows basic commands, is potty trained, crate trained, and walks beautifully on a leash. Playful and Joyful: Despite her size, Tassels is playful and enjoys the simple pleasures of cuddling, playing with toys, and lounging in the grass on sunny days. Her zoomies are a sight to behold and bring laughter and joy to everyone around her. Curious and Easygoing: Over the months, Tassels has overcome her initial shyness and now approaches life with curiosity and ease. She’s come to enjoy her interactions with people and her foster sibling. Tassels’ Ideal Home: Tassels would thrive in a home without cats or small dogs. She can live with another dog, but a proper, slow introduction is necessary to ensure a harmonious relationship. Her ideal family will be one that can provide stability, plenty of space for her to stretch her legs, and lots of love. She responds wonderfully to food, affection, and praise, making her a delightful and grateful companion. Is Tassels the Missing Piece in Your Family? If you’re looking for a loyal, loving, and serene companion to add warmth and joy to your home, consider welcoming Tassels into your life. She promises to fill your days with affection and happiness. Ready to adopt Tassels? Apply today! Visit our website to fill out an adoption application and learn more about how you can bring Tassels home! Adoption is $275, which includes spay/neuter at our vet, vaccines, dewormer, microchip, and clean bill of health. Although we work to potty train all of our dogs, we cannot guarantee full house training before adoption. Regression is a normal part of transitioning to a new home and we want our adopters to be prepared for that! APPLY on our WEBSITE: rebeldogsdetroit.com/applytoadopt

Story
Klutz alert! Slobber warning! Yak was secured as a a stray a while back, and has now spent some time with us at the shelter. While a young mastiff mix is not the perfect match for all households - we know there must be someone out there wanting Yak! 1 year old, clumsy and bouncy, already neutered and ready to learn everything you want to teach him! Yak loves sharing his affection and enthusiasm with everyone he meets. He wants to hold onto his toys, but still allows for some fetch play. Yak is not barking at the other dogs at the shelter. He is ready to go as a foster or a foster-to-adopt immediately. Yak is a big puppy who needs consistency and a small world to succeed. Please share and tag lovers of big boys. rebeldogsdetroit.com/applytoadopt Included in the adoption fee of $275 is up to date vet care, vaccines, dewormer microchip and neuter.

Story
Meet Ginger, a gentle giant with a heart full of love. This sweet senior gal is searching for a foster or forever home where she can enjoy her golden years surrounded by love and comfort. Ginger thrives on attention and affection, always happiest when she’s by your side or curled up at your feet. While she’s a low-energy lady, she still has a youthful spirit and enjoys short walks and exploring outside. Due to her current heartworm treatment, her activity is limited, but she’s found joy in sensory activities like licking peanut butter from her Kong or crunching on ice cubes. Here’s what makes Ginger so special: Food Lover: She’s incredibly food-motivated, so keeping counters and snacks out of reach is a must. Dog Friendly: Ginger gets along wonderfully with other dogs she meets. Cat Approved: She does well with cats after a brief warm-up period. Potty Trained: She’s reliable when given regular bathroom breaks. Low Energy: Perfect for a calm, slower-paced household. Ginger is looking for a patient and loving home to help her settle in and enjoy life at her own pace. She’ll be your laid-back companion, always ready for snuggles and gentle strolls. If you’re looking for a big, sweet-hearted dog to share your home with, Ginger might be your perfect match. Adoption is $275, which includes spay/neuter at our vet, vaccines, dewormer, microchip, and clean bill of health. Although we work to potty train all of our dogs, we cannot guarantee full house training before adoption. Regression is a normal part of transitioning to a new home.
