You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. If interested in any of our animals for adoption, or to foster an animal, please fill out the respective application here to get the process started. Visit our FAQ webpage for commonly asked questions about our adoption/foster process. Meet the magnificent Miss Hetti. She is a playful, energy abundant Cane Corso, and likely, boxer mix. She loves tummy rubs, fetch, and Benebone chew toys. Hetti thrives on multiple walks per day however can over heat quickly in higher temps. She is very strong and still learning manners with passing animals so an experienced handler and dog owner is a must. She loves greeting people but due to her size and still puppy behaviors, a house with kids over 12 is preferred. For Hetti to live her best life she should be a solo canine with a large fenced yard and an active owner willing to give her the exercise and attention she needs. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.Last Day Dog Rescue now microchips all animals before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the animals shoulder blades and are a permanent form of identification. The microchips are registered to Last Day Dog Rescue with the adopter's info added once adopted. If the animal is ever lost and slips his/her collar/tags the microchip allows the finder to know who to contact if scanned for a microchip. Animals MUST still have a collar with tags on at all times. Per our contract, we take all our animals back if for any reason you can't keep your adopted animal. Please understand the statements about this animal are based upon the foster home's evaluation of the animal. The animal might behave differently (negatively or positively) in your home. While the animal might be good with the current foster’s dogs, cats, children, etc., it may not be with your animal(s) or children. The animal may be housebroken or litter trained in the home of the foster but may relapse in your home. The animal is represented to the public as it performs in the foster home and any statements made regarding the animal are conditional to that foster home setting. Please understand that statements made regarding this animal are simply overviews and are not guaranteed. The Petfinder.com system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our animals. Visual breed identification in animals is unreliable so for most of the animals we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each animal as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our animals based on personality, not by breed label. Thank you for looking through our list of animals needing forever homes and choosing rescue first. We appreciate you stopping by. January 5, 2025, 6:00 pm

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Chompers – The Gentle Giant Ready for His Forever Home! Name: Chompers Breed: Olde English Mastiff Weight: A whopping 155 pounds Age: Born around September 2023 About Chompers: Chompers may be large in size, but his heart is even bigger! This friendly and outgoing giant is a bundle of love and joy, looking for a family that can handle his size and love his big heart. At just over a year old, Chompers has plenty of energy to burn, and he’s ready to spend his days playing, cuddling, and exploring with you. Chompers gets along wonderfully with other dogs and seems to thrive when he has furry friends to play with. Whether it’s chasing a ball or just lounging together, he’s all about companionship. Because of his size, he’d do best in a home with kids 13 years or older—he's just too big for younger ones to safely play with, but he’s gentle and loving with everyone he meets! Why Chompers? Loyal and Loving: This gentle giant will shower you with affection and loyalty. Playful: With his outgoing nature, Chompers is always up for fun and games—especially with other dogs! Big Heart: While he may be large, his heart is as soft as can be. He just wants to be part of the family. Perfect for Active Families: If you’re an active household looking for a big buddy to share adventures with, Chompers might just be the perfect fit! What Chompers Needs: Chompers is looking for a loving family that understands the needs of a large breed dog. His new home should have space for him to stretch his legs, play, and relax comfortably. He’s ready to learn all about his new home and will need some guidance as he continues to grow and mature. If you’re looking for a fun, loving, and giant companion, Chompers is your guy. Come meet him and see what an amazing addition he’ll be to your family! Ready to make Chompers part of your pack? Don’t wait—contact us today to meet this sweet boy and see if you’re the right fit for his forever home! Story
He was left behind when his owners moved out. Very affectionate. He looks like a goofy, kind of floppy hound dog as he ambles around. He’s sweet and affectionate. Gets along with most dogs. He’s a little bossy with food especially with a timid dog. Feeding in a crate solves that. Loves his play time in the yard with two stout dogs. Great on a leash. The Adoption Fee Includes Age-Appropriate Vaccinations (DA2PPV, Bordetella, Rabies), Deworming, Spay/Neuter, Microchip, Flea, Tick and Heartworm Treatment and Prevention, and Sheltering. Adult Dogs are Heartworm Tested and Treated as Needed. Tanner's adoption fee (if picked up locally in Crossville, Tennessee) is $225. If transport is needed, his adoption fee is $525 (out of state, East Coast, Great Lakes or New England regions).Thank You for Your Interest in Adopting a Canine Companion from Foccas-tn.org!To Apply Please Copy and Paste to Your Browser:https://service.sheltermanager.com/asmservice?account=hb2428&method=online_form_html&formid=41LOCATED IN CROSSVILLE, CUMBERLAND COUNTY, TN. Story
Meet Toph! Toph, aka Toffee, is a lovable, affectionate, and energetic pup who’s always ready for cuddles, playtime, and plenty of love! With her sweet, snuggly nature, she’s the ultimate lovebug who thrives on affection and being the center of attention. Though she’s a little cautious around new things and people, once she warms up, she’s a total joy to be around. She’s active, playful, and always up for a good game with her foster siblings or a fun adventure to daycare. Toffee loves car rides, going outside, and taking walks, but when she’s ready to relax, she’s the best snuggle buddy, curling up on the couch for a cozy nap. Toffee loves to shower everyone she meets with kisses, especially cats—she’s a big fan of licking their heads. She’s fully potty trained, crate trained, and leash trained. Toph knows many basic commands, including “sit,” “stay,” "outside," "crate," and “off." She also responds well to her name! Toph is dog and cat friendly, and we believe she would do well around children who have experience with large dogs - she loves every human she meets. She gets along wonderfully with cats and loves to spend time with them. If you’re looking for a high-energy, affectionate companion who will give you endless love and joy, Toffee might just be the perfect fit. She’d do well in an active household with other dogs or cats, and she’s sure to bring a smile to everyone’s face with her sweet and silly personality! Toph can be an only dog in an active home with someone who can keep her busy. Adoption is $275 and includes spay/neuter at our vet when age appropriate, vaccines to date of adoption, dewormer, microchip, and clean bill of health. Toph has completed all medical.
