He is friendly, affectionate, gentle, and playful, and loves cuddles with his favorite humans. Grandpa has a playful spirit and simply enjoys being near his people. Grandpa is phenomenal around kids and dogs. Cats are unknown. Grandpa is looking for place to rest his head and be a cherished part of a loving family. Grandpa has degeneration of his hind legs, making his mobility slow, but his spirit is youthful. They have been through a lot together as of recently. Their owner was forced to surrender the both of them due to having to move out of the country and unable to bring their beloved dogs with them. He has only one request. That they stay together in their new home, so they are a bonded pair. Rio does well with other dogs and kids of all ages, including infants.
