Everyone say hi to Bane our handsome gentleman. Bane is a mastiff mix but he is the gentlest giant ever. He came to us as a stray because he was looking for a good time and some people were concerned that he was aggressive. We have not seen any aggression out of him since he’s been here. He is an absolute foodie and will sit and shake for treats. His favorite thing is nap time and of course to be brushed and belly rubs. He is house trained and walks wonderfully on a leash he loves to be outside. He doesn’t really know what to do with toys but is coming around to them. He would make a wonderful best friend to share meals with and walks. So come on by and check out Bane.

This is cricket, she is 4 years old and was born in November 17th of 2020 she will be 5 this year. She is an amazing dog, and super loving and sweet. And loves attention. She has been a house dog so she really does not like being outside full time. She loves attention. She’s good with children and when it comes to puppies, kittens, or babies she’s always had more of a mother complex. Overall she is an amazing dog. Unfortunately I am moving and cannot take her with me. I just want her to have a good and loving home that she deserves. Located in and around Dallas ga. If interested I’ll donate dog food and give a 200 dollars to make sure she gets a good home.

Have you ever had the pleasure of meeting a 130 pound bundle of love? If not, allow me to introduce you to Bailey! He is a fun-loving, water-adoring 4 year old Mastiff/great Pyrenees mix. Bailey's passion is playing in the pools at the shelter. Don't let his size fool you - Bailey has a soft spot for small dogs! While Bailey isn't fond of cats, he gets along famously with dogs, kids, and as an added bonus - he's housebroken! Bailey enjoys car rides and is well-mannered on a leash. This big fellow is Hendrix! He arrived at the shelter as a lost dog on 3/23, and sadly, no one has come to reclaim him. The volunteers describe Hendrix as friendly, though a little shy at first. He warms up quickly with kind words and gentle pets. He is a little jumpy and barks in his kennel, but once outside he calms down. Someone must have loved him at one point because he knows several commands including sit, down, and stay. If you have experience with large breed dogs and Hendrix sounds like a good fit for you, please come meet him! Hendrix is approximately 3 years old and weighs 74 lbs. He is UTD on vaccines and has tested negative for heartworms. He is neutered and will be microchipped upon adoption. Hendrix is waiting in run 883; his ID # is 8915. Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers. If this cat or dog came in as a lost animal, we do not know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. When inquiring about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER. This pet is available for adoption from Cobb County Animal Services, 1060 Al Bishop Dr. Marietta, GA 30008, (770) 499-4136.
