Story
Everyone meet Deebo! He’s a legend in the town of Glenn heights for being so friendly. He’s been living on the streets with his girlfriend, they were finally picked up by animal control. The animal control officer thinks someone shot him in the face with a BB gun, he’s got an old wound. TERRIBLE!! But he’s resilient and still very friendly with people and children. Pays no mind to other dogs really, but he’s friendly with them. He very easy going and has a very sweet temperament. He’s desperately seeking companionship and love to share. He’d be so appreciative of a couch and someone to rub his belly. Vaccinated, neutered and ready to start his new life. Be the hero you want to be!

Story
Meet Kimmee, a delightful bundle of joy who's just four months old and already weighs a robust 34 pounds. This sweet and friendly puppy is as curious as they come, always eager to explore new environments and make new friends. Her goofy antics and hilarious antics will have you laughing out loud. She's a real comedian, and her positive energy is infectious. But beneath her playful exterior, Kimmee is also incredibly affectionate and loving. She's always ready to give and receive love, making her the perfect companion. Kimmee is looking for a forever home where she can continue to grow, learn, and spread joy. Her ideal family is one that can match her energy and zest for life, while also providing her with the love and care she deserves. Adopt Kimmee and let her fill your life with laughter, love, and unforgettable moments. This puppy Is spayed/neutered, up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations, treated for all of the intestinal parasites, and current on flea/tick and heartworm preventative. Because intestinal parasites are cyclical, your puppy may need additional treatment once you get him/her home. This is common and nothing to be alarmed about. Puppies and dogs need to be treated periodically for parasites throughout their entire lives. The adoption fee is $550 if your adoption is prepaid prior to your pup's arrival. An additional $50 will be charged on puppies that are picked up from our Southbury CT adoption center, adopted at an event, or foster home. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with CT HB 5368. WANT TO MEET OUR DOGS IN PERSON? Check the Events tab on cprdogs.com for all weekend adoption event info. The majority of the dogs marked as 'meet me' will be there to see you! More and more of our adopters are having fun with DNA tests on their pups. You might ask yourself why our breed guess is varying degrees of difference from the DNA tests. Most of our puppies are rescued from high kill shelters or other abandonment situations and we have no info on parents. When we rescue puppies that have no background info, we make our very best educated guess as to breed mix and age. Our guesstimate comes from years and years and years of animal welfare work and training, but our guesses won't always agree with your vet, your neighbor, your DNA test, etc. The most important thing to know about your puppy's breed mix is that most likely he/she is a Super Lovable Mutt made of many many many different breeds. If you are a MA resident, your new family member is required to go through a mandatory 48 hour quarantine period at the Woburn MA isolation facility. Your new family member will be dropped off by our transport on Thursday and will be ready for you to pick him/her up on Saturday between 11 am-1 pm. An additional $100 fee will be added for any dogs picked up from the Woburn MA quarantine facility. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with MA Order 405-CD-12 and Order 1-AHO-05. TO APPLY PLEASE GO TO www.cprdogs.com. If your application was successfully submitted you will get an automatically generated confirmation email. Please DO NOT USE the ADOPTAPET "CONTACT THIS RESCUE GROUP" form below or you may not hear from us as these often end up in spam or bouncing back. After receipt of your application, an adoption counselor will then be in touch to answer your questions about this pup, discuss the adoption process and get the ball rolling! If you have not heard from one of our volunteers within 5 days of submitting your application, please email mollibo@gmail.com.

Story
Meet Daisy!Daisy is a 1-year-old, 65-pound Mastiff mix with a heart as big as her paws! Rescued as a stray in poor condition, Daisy has been thriving in her foster home and steadily gaining weight. She’s blossomed into a sweet, loving girl who adores bedtime cuddles and following her humans everywhere—they’ll never be alone with her around!Still a playful pup, Daisy has plenty of energy and is house trained and still learning the ropes of training like not jumping on you in excitement. She’s a smart cookie and eager to please, so with patience and consistency, she’ll become an amazing companion. Daisy loves playing with bigger, higher-energy dogs, like her foster family’s huskies, and has shown promise around cats. While she’s still learning to respect feline boundaries, she’s making great progress.Watching Daisy discover toys and grow into her happy, playful self is nothing short of heartwarming. She’s ready to bring her big heart and loyal spirit into a forever home that will love her unconditionally. Could Daisy be your perfect match?IMPORTANT: Please read all below, especially if you live outside of Texas, which is where our rescue is located.Apply to adopt on our website: https://www.charmingpetrescue.org/adoptAll of our animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on shots.ALL of our animals are located in Boerne, TX, but transport after adoption is available to other states for a $300 fee for dogs or an additional fee varying by location for cats.
