Trunks is a 3-year-old Mastiff mix with a big heart and an even bigger body! He’s a gentle giant who’s all about exploring his surroundings—whether that’s sniffing everything on a walk or relaxing for pets after a romp in the yard. Trunks is eager to head out for adventures and pulls a bit on the leash at first, especially through the kennels, but once he’s settled, he’s more about sniffing and taking in the world around him. This lovable goofball enjoys treats (especially hot dogs and cheese!) and takes them with moderate gentleness. He knows a few basic commands like `sit` and `down` and is eager to learn more with a little guidance. In the play yard, he’ll happily engage in training games or just lean his big body into you for some head scratches and neck rubs. While he’s not overly toy-motivated, he enjoys a good session of `find it` and can get bursts of energy where he’ll gallop around, showing off his playful side. Though Trunks is strong and sometimes pulls on the leash, he’s affectionate and easy to kennel when it’s time to head back. Due to a healing fracture, he needs to take it easy and limit high-energy activities for now, but his calm and relaxed demeanor makes him a great companion for those looking for a chill, laid-back buddy. If you’re looking for a big, lovable dog who is equal parts explorer and snuggle-bug, Trunks is ready to join your home and bring his sweet, calm energy with him! Brownies Birthday is May 10th 2024 he is a very smart dog just needs someone to train him. He has a very playful personalilty, does not bark at dog, police cars, or loud noises. He is not the biggest fan of staying in his crate for too long but short periods don't bother him. He loves the water and running around outdoors. Brownie is pee pad trained we are still working on getting him to pee outside on walks.

This mixed breed likely has a bunch of genetics in the mix- weimarainer and mastiff might be in there- but it’s just a guess. Shes just over a year old, so she’s got loads of puppy goofy bad-coordination short-attention-span energy to her. She’s a big girl at approx 74 lbs, and a lot of enthusiasm to her, so humans need to be prepared for her initial excitement at the start of every walk. She has a ton of empathy- super curious at all times and very worried when she heard other dogs reacting to things. Shes incredibly sweet girl-a little overstimulated in the shelter- who enjoyed playing with toys and almost kinda sorta brought them back every time. She thought drinking water out of the hose was a really fun activity too. Once we got to know each other, she was a fan of getting pats and scratches and hanging out on the bench with me. I was so happy to get to spend time with Ruth and to see how fabulous she is. I hope the right humans come along and discover her soon- whoever it is will be so lucky to have a wonderfully sensitive, silly, big goof in their life.
