Story
Location: Merced, CA Handsome hunky boy Jacques is around 11 months old. He was rescued off the streets by a kind elderly lady. No microchip or owner has been found. He is a big boy at 100 lbs and just a bit too much puppy for her to keep him. Jacques is sweet, friendly, a big lump of affection, super loving and great with the 4 yr. old child in the home. He loves car rides and playing in the yard chasing tennis balls. Chew bones are the bestest! He is partially blind in one eye but that doesn't stop him. He has been wonderful with the other dog & puppies that were also rescued off the streets, that are also with the elderly finder. Kitties are unknown. Jacques would make a wonderful addition to any family with his loving disposition. Story
we savedthis guy's life from San Bernardino and we realized that the rescue that he's under is based in Oregon so they're no help whatsoever. so we have no resources to help find a home or anything for him. he's really good with my 3-year-old,had him around 3-year-old birthday parties he was phenomenal no aggression towards any people or kids whatsoever he's really good with our Chihuahua. but if a dog comes at him he will definitely defend himself. so he gets along with dogs depending on the dog. but he is a really good boy. he needs a lot of rubs and attention. full of love. he needs somewhere with some space we have a tiny kitchen he lays right in the middle of it when we're in there etc needs to be in the middle of whatever we're doing. And he should get exercise everyday he's lost a bunch of weigh By being ran. in about a couple weeks here we're not going to have time for him. we really need to find a foster or a home for him soon. if anyone knows of anyone please hit me up.

*This is a courtesy listing.* Meet Kali! 5-year-old Kali needs a loving new home following the recent passing of her mom. Kali can be reserved when first meeting someone nd takes a bit to warm up, but she is very warm and affectionate when she gains trust in the person. Kali was very loving and devoted to her mom, and with time, she will share her big heart with a new family. She enjoys playing fetch and is good with the 2-year-old granddaughter of her late owner. For the past 5 years, Kali has lived with another dog (Kara, also available for adoption), and they get along very well. They eat alongside each other without issue and share space & attention nicely. Both dogs earn high marks from the care staff where they board. If you are looking for a loving, devoted, and well-behaved companion, Kali may be the one for you! Story
COURTESY POST Hannah’s journey hasn’t been an easy one. She found herself scared and just days away from giving birth at one of California’s toughest high-kill shelters, where she and her 10 puppies were placed on the euthanasia list. But Real Good Rescue and two amazing rescue partners came together to save this brave mama. Despite losing seven of her puppies during this tough transition, Hannah’s spirit never wavered. She proved to be the most loving and dedicated mother, nurturing her babies with unwavering attention, care and play. Thanks to her, all three surviving puppies were quickly adopted into loving homes. And like most mama dogs, Hannah was overlooked. Now, it’s Hannah’s turn to find the forever home she so deeply deserves. At 75lbs and approximately 4 years old, Hannah is the perfect mix of active and chill. She’s a social butterfly who’s lived harmoniously with small dogs and even a 5-year-old child. However, her dream home would be calm, peaceful, and all about her—no other pets, just allowing Hannah to soak up all the love. Outdoors, she enjoys staying active and exploring, but indoors she’s the ultimate couch potato, ready for cuddles and naps. If you or someone you know is ready to give this incredible girl the life and love she’s been waiting for, email adopt@realgood.

Story
Kyle, is a healthy 130lb big lazy boy. Loves people. Great with most dogs but as he’s in his senior era going on 10 years old, he prefers non-high energy or puppy energy dogs, those that match his netflix & chillout lazy boy energy is preferred. He’s easy going and loves to roam around the yard or house. He is a sweet gentle giant doggo, loves to hangout on a porch or nap most of the day in a dog bed. Big fan of belly rubs. Kyle also loves garden, he’ll pull weeds and sniff the flowers! He’s very much in his "retirement era", a low maintenance ol' chap who just needs a stable safe space to live out the rest of his days with TV and AC. He doesn’t care for much activity as he’s happy with toys and chews and companionship. He’s an old man, with a big stride.

These pups are in San Diego, California too!

Story
Your Gentle Giant Looking for Love! Hello there, I'm Hippo, a 5-year-old Bull Mastiff mix, a big boy at 87 lbs, and neutered. I was pulled from the Riverside shelter by TAP and I am so grateful for that! I have picked up bathroom manners, working on leash manners. I have separation  anxiety and current medications to help with separation anxiety include Trazodone (~$7.00), Gabapentin (~$13.00), Acepromazine as needed (~$25.00), and Prozac (~$5.00). Monthly cost depending on where purchased and market value.  I may look imposing at first glance, but once you get to know me, you'll see I'm the sweetest and most loveable companion you could ever ask for. I love affection, and snuggling up next to my humans is one of my favorite pastimes. I'm generally friendly with other dogs, but I might need a slow introduction to make sure we're all on the same page. When I'm inside the house, I sometimes get a bit anxious and bark at people passing by, but don't worry – once we're outside, I'll mostly be an observer, calmly taking in the world around me. I can show some leash reactivity though. With some patience, understanding, and positive reinforcement training, I'm sure I can overcome this behavior. I adore outdoor adventures and walks, but I can get a little distracted if there's too much going on around me. I find night walks with minimal distractions to be the best for me. That way, I can focus on our quality time together without getting overwhelmed by everything happening around us. One of my quirks is that I like to playfully bite ankles and wrists when I want to wake you up or just engage in some playtime. I promise it's all in good fun! But for this reason, a family with older kids or adults might be a better fit for me. I would absolutely love a fun-loving home with a yard! Having a safe and secure place to play and explore would make me one happy pup! I'm quite adaptable, so whether you lead an active lifestyle or prefer a more laid-back approach, I'll fit right in. Just as long as I get plenty of love and attention, I'll be content. So, are you ready to open your heart and home to a gentle giant like me? I guarantee that with a little understanding, patience, and love, I'll be the most loyal and loving companion you could ever wish for. Let's embark on this incredible journey together, creating unforgettable memories and forging an unbreakable bond. ##1733826##
