Story
Meet Gomez! Gomez is a 1 year old English Mastiff mix, searching for his forever home.Gomez is a sweet, friendly, sensitive boy, who loves to cuddle, lay around, and explore outdoors. He doesn't have a ton of confidence, so he's still learning how to navigate the world around him. Gomez loves to be right by your side, and is eager to make friends with everyone he meets. As a Mastiff mix, Gomez would benefit physically and psychologically from free play and daily walks. However, owners must be careful not to overtax young adults: Don't allow them to run up and down stairs, jump from heights, or engage in long walks.Gomez's ideal home would give him lots of outdoor access, potentially another doggie friend, and TONS of cuddles and companionship. A perfect home for Gomez would have minimal stairs, and a fair bit of space for him to move around and feel comfortable. If you think Gomez could be a good fit for you, please fill out an application below.https://spca.bc.ca/survey/dog-adoption-application-kamloops/ Primary Color: Brown Brindle Weight: 34.1 Age: 1yrs 0mths 2wks

Let's create a bond that helps me feel safe and loved. 💖🐶 Primary Color: Grey Secondary Color: White Weight: 36 Age: 1yrs 0mths 4wks

Story
Krishna is an extra large puppy with an extra large heart to match! Krishna came to the SPCA when his previous guardians realized that they didn't have the resources that they needed to give him the care that he deserves. While he might be the size of a fully-grown dog at 60lbs, this 5-month-old still has quite a bit of growing to go! Krishna is a happy and outgoing puppy who loves to meet new people. He is working hard on his manners, and is learning not to jump up at people to say hello. When it's snuggling time, Krishna does a fantastic impression of a lap dog and will sit right down on top of you. Krishna is highly food motivated, so training is going great with this smart boy. Krishna would be most successful in a detached home or larger apartment, just so long as he is getting adequate exercise and stimulation. He has been exhibiting some separation anxiety while in shelter, so his future family will need to work with him on building his confidence with bring left alone. He is eager to meet other dogs, and might do well with a confident canine companion to teach him how to be the best boy he can be. This big goofball is definitely a fantastic dog in the making, who just needs some guidance and love from a dedicated forever family to reach his full potential!dPlease come into the shelter during visiting hours if you would like to meet me. You can also submit an application online if I am in foster or you would like to save some time when you come visit. While we do welcome online applications, in person meets have top priority.dogs:https://spca.bc.ca/adoption/dog-pre-adoption-questionnaire/cats:https://spca.bc.ca/adoption/cat-pre-adoption-questionnaire/Our visiting hours are:Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday: 12-5Thursday, Public Holidays: closedSaturday, Sunday: 12-4 Primary Color: Black Secondary Color: White Weight: 33.4 Age: 0yrs 5mths 2wks

Story
Denali came into our care after her previous owner sadly passed away. Denali was quite shy with us for the first few days, after she got a bit comfortable, she started to show us her amazing personality! Denali has lots of energy, she loves to play and bounce around with people or other dogs! She is selective on the dogs she likes, she gets along the best with male dogs. She loves to go for walks and adventures with our volunteer's, but she will also never say no to a snuggle or a nap! Denali will happily chase a ball, we are working on the brining it back part! She loves attention and meeting new people. She settles very well in her kennel, she has an extra comfy bed that she loves to relax on. Other Dogs: Well matched, males preferred Cats: Unknown Kids: Yes but older 15+ Apartment: Maybe Walks: Loves them! New People: Yes with caution, she may need to warm up! -------------------------------------------------------------------- At City of Vancouver Animal Services, we have a foster-to-adopt program whereby prospective new owners foster the adoptable animal for 21 days before committing to adoption. This ensures that both the new owner and the adoptable animal are well suited to each other. Adoption Fee $353 Includes: -Spay/Neuter -First set of shots -One vet visit -Microchip -Bag of food If you live in Vancouver, you will also need to buy a dog license.
