Story
Meet Chewie! This handsome young boy is a sweet & friendly dog. Chewie loves to meet new people and greet them with a kiss. He needs some work with manners but is eager to please and will learn quickly with consistency & routine. Chewie would do best as the only pet in the home. This big bouncy boy is plenty of dog on his own! Chewie hasn't been exposed to everything dogs typically are, so he might need extra support and reassurance in new situations. This sweetie is pretty confident, but he tends to be sensitive and look to his human for comfort. Are you ready for Chewie? Submit your adoption questionnaire today! Story
Introducing Loki! Loki is a very special boy who found his way into a shelter when his owner started working out of town and no longer had time for him. Loki was raised in a family with small children and would do well with dog savvy kids in his new home. He is very social with dogs but would prefer to be the only animal in the home as he has a tendency to chase small animals.Loki is a very affectionate boy and loves a good snuggle. He enjoys playing with his toys and is highly food-motivated. Sadly, Loki came into the shelter with a serious skin infection and requires a special diet moving forward to ensure he is comfortable and free of wounds. He is currently on antibiotics and requires 2 medicated baths/week while he is recovering.Loki would love a home with an active family who will continue to socialize him and make him the center of their world. He bonds very quickly and would prefer his guardians work part-time or from home so they can spend hours each day fussing over how handsome he is.If you're interested in Loki, please send in an application today or stop in Tuesday-Sunday between 12p-3pm. Primary Color: Brown Secondary Color: Brown Weight: 35.5 Age: 6yrs 8mths 1wks

Story
Meet Oscar! This 4 year old, large breed boy bonds strongly with those he trusts. He is your buddy for life type of dog. Oscar grew up well loved and it shows. Oscar does get stressed when meeting certain new people. If he is feeling overwhelmed he will let you know with his body language and voice. Since he is a sensitive guy he would love a home with some experience to help guide him through the scary times. Oscar would do well in an adult home with people that will protect, love and cherish him forever. Please follow these steps if interested in adoption!1. View the animal's profile at adopt.spca.bc.ca 2. Submit an application https://spca.bc.ca/adoption/dog-pre-adoption-questionnaire/3. Story
If you're looking for a new man, look no further!George is a very sweet boy who is searching for his furever home. He is a very big boy and sometimes doesn't know his own size! He loves to lean against you and give slobbery kisses while you're giving him love and attention. George is selective with other dogs, he has made a couple friends while in care but will react to other dogs that he isn't fond of. He is reactive towards men, although with positive reinforcement and lots of treats, he will learn that they are nice! He has had good interactions with male dog walkers so he's getting there! He loves to snuggle and wants nothing more than to curl up on a nice warm couch with his people! George is very keen to learn and is extremely food motivated, he responds very well to treats and snacks. He knows the basics and has the potential to learn so much more! If you think George sounds like the perfect match for you, send us an application! Primary Color: Black Secondary Color: Tan Weight: 53.9 Age: 2yrs 0mths 1wks
