These two hilarious block heads will keep you laughing, keep your lap warm and always be appreciative for every little ounce of attention you give them. Their were severely neglected the first part of their lives but are quickly re-nourishing and thriving! They are both kennel trained, leash trained, potty trained, eager to please, and good with kids and all people. They are the doofiest big babies you will ever meet and you have to see them in person to really appreciate their size... they are BIG boys! *Oops has a docked tail due to his "happy tail," and recently had an ACL surgery. Both dogs take carprophen/rimidyl daily 100mg total, a dasquin vitamin for joint support and eat six cups of food a day each (3 in the AM, 3 in the PM). This is Baki, a friendly, young, goof ball that doesn`t know his size and still acts very much like a puppy.He`s full of energy and will need an active owner who can handle his size and keep up with him. He walks well on a leash and listens to correction but, he needs some consistant training on the basics. He`s a tall boy and will need a secure yard with a 6 ft fence.He seems to be insecure with other dogs, and prefers friendly females or friendly smaller males. Bruno is a super handsome big boy who originally came to PACC as a stray. A little uncomfortable with shelter life, he did a great job of putting on a brave face and learning a routine. Here’s what a couple of his volunteer fans had to say:“A super duper good boy! Leashes easily, shy but loves to snuffle his nose in your hand to check for treats. Easy loose leash walker. A mega sweetie pie who could use some confidence building.”“Bruno quietly greeted me at the kennel door. I entered the kennel and he took a jerky treat from my hand and I was able to leash him. On his walk he enjoyed smelling along the trail, and his tail was out. Hopefully as he becomes more comfortable with the routine, he will open up and become more confident.”Bruno was adopted and spent several months in a home. He was reportedly housebroken, enjoyed trips to Starbucks, likes swimming in the ocean, and loves riding in the car. During a brief stay in a foster home, Bruno was a quiet houseguest who did well with another dog in the home.In another longer foster term foster home Bruno did GREAT with other dogs, was calm and well- behaved in the house, and was housebroken and crate trained. Bruno’s foster said that he LOVES toys of any kind and is great with his person. He is well- behaved and smart and knows the commands for sit, come, stay, paw, and crate. Bruno bonds deeply with his trusted person but needs slow intros to strangers. A lower traffic home and time in his crate when folks stop by would be ideal. Bruno is looking for a family that will support him as he adjusts to a new home and who will be aware of his comfort level in new situations. When meeting other dogs in playgroup, Bruno was appropriate and tolerant and mostly kept to himself. He enjoyed exploring the yard and playing in the doggy pool. He has also shared his kennel politely while in the shelter. Please ask to meet Bruno today!
