Story
**Rehoming Sarah: 6-Year-Old Great Pyrenees Mix Rottweiler** We are looking for a loving new home for Sarah, our 6-year-old Great Pyrenees mix Rottweiler (born 12/12/2018). Unfortunately, due to our work schedules and living situation, we are no longer able to give Sarah the attention she deserves. She’s a wonderful dog who needs more time outdoors and companionship than we can provide. **About Sarah:** - **Age:** 6 years old (as of 12/12/2018) - **Breed:** Great Pyrenees mix Rottweiler - **Temperament:** Calm, relaxed, and very affectionate. She loves to cuddle but also enjoys her space due to her large size. - **Training:** Fully potty trained, crate trained, and leash trained. She listens well to commands like "sit," "stay," "come," "down," and "hustle." - **Health:** Sarah is healthy and up-to-date on all vaccinations. - **Needs:** Sarah is used to a simple routine and needs a home where she can have more outdoor time and attention. Story
Vito is a 15 month old Great Pyrenees in need of a new home. He has been through training and knows commands such as sit, wait, and down, etc. His nickname is Sweetums because he loves his hugs and morning snuggles. We have kids 14 and 9 and a cat. Vito needs someone who can give him room to roam. He prefers to be outside where he can do Pyrenees things. He does have strong instincts of resource guarding; where if he has deemed something as his it is his. He has mainly targeted this behavior towards me (women, 40) and has bit at me when I tried to take something from him. We have worked with him as much as time has allowed and the main reason for his training. We would prefer for him to go to a family with acreage and no small children as he hasn’t grown up with them. This decision has been difficult for our family but we want what’s best for Vito. We hope there’s someone out there who can give this big guy the room he needs to thrive. He is truly a livestock guardian dog!

Story
Grayson is a shy and undersocialized big puppy who was found stray in the mountains with his brother. He is kind and gentle by nature and very similar in personality to his brother but a bit more skittish. Given some space and time, he warms up to humans and comes seek pets around his ears and chin and sometimes on his head but at this point he seems to rather be outside or napping in a safe corner than spend time around humans and will definitely need a patient and caring adopter who won’t pressure him too much until he is ready. He is still jumpy if napping and you get up from a chair or drop something, and he will then hide or seek a place in a corner. He is learning to play with toys and seems to like stuff to chew on. He is quite happy when the kiddie pool outside is filled. A home is a brand-new environment to Grayson, but he is adjusting. He enjoys lying in the shade of a tree and loves to play with other dogs of all sizes. Inside he still gets to be supervised and kept from engaging in puppy antics. Already he will alert to go outside to potty. He knows to lie down in the kennel at bedtime. His temporary foster mom is working on getting him over his fear of the leash and not spook at all loud and strange noises. He will often hang out with his brother, and they definitely have a bond but there are also times they get tired of each other and want to be in separate places. We don’t know how he is with cats or with children but with his fears he will probably be best in a home with adults only. He will need a home with a fenced yard. Grayson was estimated to be around 8 months old at the beginning of August, 2024. He is a large dog, approx. 70 lbs is a guess, tall and lean. His breeds turn out to be 27% great Pyrenees, 21% Anatolian shepherd, 21% Labrador retriever, 15% golden retriever, 13% standard poodle, and s smidgen of other breeds. At the time the photos were taken, Grayson’s eyes kept getting gunky and runny but he has since had surgery to correct the issue.
