Story
Daisy is a sweet, loving 5-year-old Maltipoo. She has a spinal injury and we're treating with chiropractic as conventional attempts failed her. Owner was elderly and in need of medical attention herself, but up until very recently gave Daisy a very pampered life in senior housing. Donations will go towards her medical work up. She will need doggy wheels size very small. UPDATE: After several chiro appointments she can now sit up. She’s made amazing progress. Will she walk again, probably not, but she has much more mobility and will soon be fitted for a cart. Daisy is a peppy little girl who gets along great with the two Wheatons in the foster home. Please inquire at adoptions@saveadog.org or apply at https://www.saveadog.org/applytoadopt.asp.

An application does not obligate you to adopt from us, but it does show that you are serious about the adoption process. Please remember we are all volunteers. After you submit your application please allow a few days for a volunteer to review your application. During this time your vet reference will be checked and a volunteer with determine if it is the best match for you and the animal. Applications are not approved on a first come, first serve basis. We match up the best home for the animal, so even if the pet has other applications, this does not mean he/she will be adopted to that home. Once your application has been approved a volunteer with contact you to set up a phone interview. This is the perfect time for you to ask any questions you have about the adoption process and the animal you are interested in.
