Strawberry is all about staying active. Whether it’s sprinting across the house, jumping up on the couch before you can even sit down, or making sure you know exactly where she is and what she’s up to, Berry will keep you on your toes! Her zest for life is infectious, and she’ll make sure every moment with her is filled with laughter and love.
Berry’s affectionate nature means she’s always ready to share her love, sometimes getting up close and personal with her kisses! After a fabulous walk to burn off some of that boundless energy, she’s ready to settle in and share some warm snuggles—before she's off again on her next playful adventure!
Weighing in at a lean 8 pounds, Strawberry is expected to reach a healthy 10 pounds with the right care and nutrition. She’s a healthy morsel of sweetness looking for a family that can keep up with her active lifestyle with another compatible small dog. Having someone home often is a must, as Strawberry thrives on companionship and engagement.
Please note that Strawberry's lively personality isn’t suited for apartment or condo living. She’s quite the chatterbox, letting you know everything that’s going on in her world, and she needs a space where she can freely express herself without disturbing neighbors.

This dog's adoption fee is $500 to go towards their vetting (vaccines, spay/neuter, heartworm/Ehrlichia/Lyme test, fecal test, pre-op blood work, dental cleaning, and microchip as well as grooming if needed). *All dogs in the care of Get a Life Pet Rescue live in loving foster homes while waiting for their perfect match. They don't live in cages or crates (unless there is a medical reason to do so.) They are treated as family pets while in our care. * All dogs in our care are fed premium brand holistic food as well as supplements and vitamins specific to each dog's needs. We don't buy inexpensive bulk dry kibble, our rescues are fed premium wet food diets as part of a comprehensive rehabilitation program to ensure maximum health. .*All of our rescues receive complete quality vetting including full dental cleaning with pre-op bloodwork, spay/neuter, vaccines, and grooming. Dogs in need of specialized medicine will be seen by specialists, such as full cardiac workups, and ophthalmologist visits, all suspicious lumps, and bumps are biopsied, and every medical need is transparent to potential adopters. *Once you adopt from Get a Life Pet Rescue, you become part of our compassionate family and we are here for you if a problem with your precious dog arises.
