Meet the adorable Bennett! This handsome and charming 8-month-old MaltiPoo mix weighs in at a delightful 12.5 pounds, with a fluffy, soft white coat that's irresistibly cuddly. Bennett and his brother Beckett were sadly surrendered to AFC after being found abandoned in a vineyard, but they are now ready to find their forever home! They came of us horribly matted but will soon have beautiful coats. Bennett is full of energy and loves to run and play, making him a perfect companion for families or individuals with a gentle, playful dog. While he enjoys the company of his brother and they would make a great pair, he would thrive in an environment with another small kind-hearted dog. larger and more boisterous dogs tend to scare him. As a young puppy, Bennett will need some additional house training and leash training once he's fully vaccinated. He’s scheduled to be neutered soon, but we're eager to find him loving adoptive family right away. His fluffy coat will require regular professional grooming to keep him looking his best. Meet the beautiful Bunny! She is a 2 ½ -year-old, 10 pound, scruffy, white and apricot, (Malchi) (Maltese/Chihuahua mix. This adorable girl has a merry twinkle in her eyes that will melt your heart! Bunny is a high energy girl and needs an ACTIVE ADULT ONLY home where she will be walked and played with daily. She was surrendered to us because her family didn't have time for her and sadly she spent most of her day in a crate. Bunny is waiting to see how wonderful life is! She needs and deserves to be your best friend! She LOVES all your attention and prefers to be an only dog though she does play with other dogs. Her favorite game is pouncing at you and trying to get you to chase her. For being such a playful girl, she really LOVES to cuddle her human. She would love to spend quality time with you. She loves to sit in your lap or next to you. She enjoys going on walks and rides well in the car. She will require occasional professional grooming. Meet the adorable Muffin! She is a 1/2-year-old, 19 pound, white, Poodle mix. She was found as a stray and was horribly matted. This pretty girl had to be shaved but her coat is growing in nicely. No more neglect for this sweet gal! She will require regular professional grooming. She does enjoy gentle play with smaller dogs but she prefers human companionship over anything else. She would be happiest in a home where someone is with her most of the time. She loves people of all ages. Muffin is very loving and will give kisses. She would love to hang out with you by day and snuggle in your bed at night? She is a very smart girl! She uses her paws in cat like fashion to move items around. She knows how to sit and will try to train you to give her a treat! She seems to be housebroken but may require some reinforcement. She may need leash training. At the sanctuary we use the command "go potty" before taking the dogs outside to do their business. Muffin is happy to comply. This is a good habit to continue at home. She requires a securely fenced yard, as she can jump over a 3-foot fence with ease! She is spayed, microchipped and current on her vaccinations. Are you ready for a new love? Meet Darling Coco! She is a pretty and delightful 3-4-year-old, 17.4-pound Maltese with a heart full of love and a spirit full of energy! This sweet girl was surrendered to AFC due to her family's divorce, and she is now ready to find her forever home. She did come in with her best friend Lucy and they are a bonded pair that need a home together. Coco truly shines when she gets the spotlight all to herself! Coco is a social butterfly who adores everyone she meets, and she thrives on attention and affection. Her playful spirit is contagious, and she gets especially excited when it's time to go for a car ride! While Coco is charming and vivacious, she could stand to shed a couple of pounds. Her ideal new owner will be someone who understands that spoiling her with love and healthy treats like carrots and apples is the way to go! Coco walks beautifully on a leash, and once she's settled into her new home, we're confident she will master potty training with a little patience and love. (Sadly Coco and Lucy have been outside dogs). Coco and Lucy will be a perfect match. Coco will require regular professional grooming to keep her gorgeous coat in tip-top shape.
