Just fill in the blanks and SEND. We commonly receive multiple applications for a single dog. Nevertheless, only one applicant will be invited to meet a dog at a mutually agreeable appointment day, time & place. Usually Petsmart Yorba Linda or our Santa Ana location near South Coast Plaza. All adoption fees cover the mandatory and non-negotiable spay/neuter, rabies, microchip, microchip registration, full sets of core vaccinations (rabies and 1 set of distemper/parvo for adults, 4 for puppies) and deworming. Adoption fees vary based on age, breed, size and the costs incurred on the dog's behalf by us i.e. medical, behavioral training, etc.

Bentley has been in our family for the past 2 years, he has brought me and my 2 adolescent children a lot of joy. However, we are moving to a new home and sadly we cannot bring him with us. Bentley is a very fun and loving dog. I will honestly state that Bentley does require a lot of redirection due to his overly energetic personality at times. I would recommend someone adopt Bentley that can handle an energetic dog and who is willing to train and guide him. He will be a great addition to any family, he's always super excited to see anyone. As with any dog he loves attention, toys, and loves when guests come over. He also has a soft side where he likes to lay down next to you and just snuggle. I would prefer for him to be with an owner who has had pets in the past. It should also be noted that Bentley does not have much experience interacting with other pets specifically dogs and cats.

Story

I acquired Dexter from a friend. He is a spunky, loving, cuddly 8 year old dog. Dexter has a condition called cerebella hypoplasia . This affects his coordination and walking. He has the ability to use all of his legs however, he is unable to balance for long periods of time which results in a lot of rolling around. In spite of this he has the best spirit out of any dog I have ever been around. He knows his name when you call him, he can fetch (it may take him a little longer than other dogs to bring the ball back to you), and he is potty trained in doors. Dexter doesn't do a lot of walking on his own so he needs help to get to food, water, and to bring outside to go to the bathroom. Although he knows not to potty inside I use a diaper for him just in case for accidents. I know all of this sounds intimidating but he truly is the most loveable dog you will ever have the pleasure of knowing. This is not something I ever wanted to do but I currently do not have a choice.

This sweet 11 year old mini Poodle has been with us since February 2020, spending his time with an amazing foster. Wiley came from a local shelter with two debilitated back legs. After multiple vet visits to seek out his diagnosis, it was identified that both of Wiley’s knees have severely subluxated patellas. Based on the severity and his age, surgery is not recommended. He will be on Gabapentin and in a wheelchair for the rest of his life. He cannot go for long walks and cannot climb stairs. Ever since Wiley came to our rescue, he has been in great spirits and has a very loving and friendly disposition with his human but he does not do well with other dogs.
