Story
*We will not be hosting an adoption event on Saturday, February 22. We are offering private adoption appointments for pre-approved applicants February 17-23.* Marvin is a spunky, playful, powderpuff with a heart full of love to give. This sweet boy had a rough start - his long, beautiful coat was neglected, leading to severe matting. But with a fresh haircut and a fresh start, Marvin is blossoming into a more confident and happy dog. Marvin adores people and wants nothing more than to be by your side, following you like a little butterfly. He’s picking up on house training and prefers snuggling in bed with his person over being kenneled. Though he’s well-behaved when left alone, he would much rather be included in all the fun. This social butterfly gets along well with dogs, cats, and kids. He’s playful, a little silly, and learning new things every day - like leash walking. Marvin rides well in the car and is growing braver every day with the love of his foster family. Marvin will need regular grooming to keep his coat in tip-top shape, but he promises to repay you with endless love, cuddles, and laughter. If you’re looking for a devoted companion with a goofy, loving personality, Marvin might just be your perfect match. Could Marvin be the missing piece in your life? Apply to adopt him today! Marvin is a 1-year-old mixed breed rescued from a high-intake shelter. This dog's adoption fee is $900 and includes up-to-date vaccinations, microchip, 4DX testing, and neuter. Marvin is also tested with other dogs, cats, and children. He is working on housebreaking and kennel training in foster care. We would love for you to meet this dog and see if he might be a good fit for your home. The first step to adoption is completing an adoption application on our website at www.bounceanimalrescue.org. Pending approval, your application is valid for 1 year, and you will be eligible to request a hold on an individual animal for the Saturday adoption event. The hold does not require that you take the animal home, but ensures you get to meet and make an adoption decision prior to other applicants. Also pending approval, you will be able to acquire foster home contact information, so you inquire on personalities of specific animals. We do offer midweek private adoption appointments for approved applicants pending staff, foster home, and vetting schedules. Because we are 100% foster-based, private adoption appointments are only offered for individual animals. (If interested in viewing multiple animals at one time, we encourage you to attend our adoption events!) Please note, we do not have the ability to process adoption applications at our adoption events, so please plan accordingly. If an application is submitted past 5pm on Monday-Thursday, it will begin review the following day. If submitted on Friday-Sunday, it will begin review on Monday. It takes approximately 1-2 business days for an application to be processed. Our adoption events take place every Saturday from 10am-Noon at Pet Supplies Plus (Front Range Village, 2912 Council Tree Ave #100, Fort Collins, 80525). For additional questions regarding meeting this dog please contact us via text/email at 970.699.6772, or contact@bounceanimalrescue.org. We apologize for any inconvenience, but due to a high volume of inquiries, calls and voicemails regarding adoption will not be returned. Thank you for choosing adoption! Story
Meet Cream Delight (aka: Emmy Lou)! She is guessed to be a 7 yr old Maltese/Yorkie mix, who is only around 6.5 bs. She was recently rescued from a hoarder/backyard breeder in OK, along with a few other lucky pups! She is a gentle soul with a mellow disposition. Her sweet nature shines through her shyness, making her a delightful companion. This cute, furry little girl is a bit shy at first, but is learning how good it is to be loved on by humans. She came from a place with lots and lots of dogs so is good with dogs. She needs a loving home to show her how good life can be as a beloved family member. If you have a warm lap and love to give, she is the right dog for you! She will need her safe place kennel and a small play yard around the kennel to begin with while you spend time in her safe area helping her to get used to you and her new surroundings. She will also need a small fenced yard or being slowing walked in the yard on a leash until she gains confidence with you and her new life. Emmy Lou is waiting patiently to find her FurEver Family!! Precious gentle-soul is currently being fostered with one of our dog trainers that specializes and rehabilitates timid, shy, scared or unsocialized dogs. She is absolutely adorable and her eyes will melt your heart! Her foster mom thinks she would do better in a quiet home with adults or older children to work with her. Another confident dog could be helpful as she loves other dogs, but not necessary if the adopter can help her continue on her confidence journey. Her foster mom has an amazing rehabilitation protocol to help these scared dogs and is working with her on potty training, socializing with dogs and humans, kennel training, doggie door training and if time permits, leash and car training. She also has an amazing group of volunteers that meet twice a week to help socialize all the scared foster dogs in her care. There are lots of other dogs at her foster mom's house so we know she is dog friendly. Her foster doesn't have any cats but thinks she would be fine with them if introduced slowly and properly. She will need an adopter, who will give her love and patience. Please consider this adorable dog as a part of your family. She deserves all the kindness and will give you a lifetime of affection. The shy dogs become the most loyal dogs, who adore their humans. Her foster mom is located in Fort Collins Colorado and wants to find a patient adopter, who is willing to do a minimum of one paid training session with her. This training session is NOT basic obedience, but instead, is designed for rescue dogs and teaches the adopter how to work to build the dogs confidence and overcome any trauma the dog may have experienced. This training will help the family and this sweet dog adjust to their new life together much quicker than trying to do it on your own. She provides a discount on training to her adopters. The dogs that she fosters truly need an adopter to be their hero and offer them lots of time, patience, love and a safe environment that they can slow grow in confidence.

Story
Honestly, Mickey is Albino which resulted in him being deaf and blind, but you wouldn’t know it, that is until you see him wander into something. He is the sweetest little pup. He loves to be on your lap or in bed with you. He can even jump in and out of the bed. He is surprisingly agile. Mickey is wonderfully “clingy” because he needs to smell you to know where you are. But hey, who doesn’t want a bathroom buddy? This also means he walks really well on a leash. Mickey is incredibly soft and a very portable size. He was also extremely patient during grooming (despite extreme and painful matting) and an extremely gentle soul. He navigates the world incredibly well by smell and vibration. He can tell where his foster mom and foster-dog siblings are. If can’t find you, he’ll sniff you out quickly. He loves toys and spending some time outside. He also knows how to get in and out of the dog door (which he figured out in no time at all). Mickey likes going places and meeting new people, especially in the car. He is also very fond of other dogs. Mickey is also still naughty like a puppy! He enjoys ripping up paper and could provide the perfect “dog ate my homework” excuse. He also has an uncanny ability to wait until you're almost asleep to bring you his stuffed animals to tug on. Mickey is being fostered in Loveland.
