Story
Dina is a tiny 10-year-old, 8-pound sweetheart who found herself at a San Antonio shelter as a stray—matted, dirty, and covered in fleas and ticks, without the care she deserved. Thankfully, her amazing foster stepped in, got her groomed, and gave her the fresh start she needed.Despite everything she’s been through, Dina is pure sweetness. She’s energetic, affectionate, and absolutely loves to be petted and cuddled. She’ll happily sit in your lap for as long as you’ll let her and snuggles up in bed at night like the little companion she was meant to be.💗Dina is blind, but that doesn’t slow her down one bit. She follows voices to find her people and is learning the layout of her new home super quickly—she’s incredibly adaptable! She uses pee pads and is doing great with her routine. Her foster carries her outside for potty breaks, and Dina knows just what to do!🏡Dina takes it all in stride with confidence and trust. All Dina wants is love—and she has so much of it to give in return. 🥰At her vet appointment, we learned Dina is heartworm positive and will also need a dental. The good news? We will cover her heartworm treatment until it’s fully completed, and her dental is scheduled soon so she can feel her very best.💊Could you be the safe, gentle home this resilient girl has been waiting for? 💖📍Dina is being fostered in San Antonio, Texas. Story
Napolean is a sweet and loving senior. We call him Niko, it’s easier and he responds to the nickname. Niko is an uncomplicated dog that would thrive where he is loved and adored. His foster says “he does NOT act like a senior dog” and “he’s one of the nicest dogs she’s I’ve fostered.” The name Napolean suits him because he is brave and thinks he is much bigger than 10 pounds when he plays and cuddles with the foster family’s three large labradors. He also LOVES their senior horse. They pick him up so he can sniff her and he’s happy as can be. He’s also good with children (8 and up) and the groomers. Even though it took the groomer two hours to get out all the mats from overgrown hair, he was a champ. He is heartworm positive. He's had 30 days of Doxycycline and a proheart injection. He needs to be re-tested in June 2026 for heartworm disease. Niko is also neutered, up to date on shots, and microchipped. He is mostly blind but has some visibility. Despite his blindness, he manages to get around in the house on his own. Because he is so brave and willing to explore, he needs supervision when he’s outside so his foster parent accompanies him when he potties and walks around the yard. He doesn’t need a leash, just supervision. He has quite a bit of training down - house trained, crate trained, and walking on leash. His foster says he is super cute and “trots like a prancing pony picking up his little feet up.” He likes to ride along on the front seat of their truck (tethered), popping his head to look around or lying down. He also loves treats and toys. He’s chewed up all the Benebones at his foster home. Because of his senior dog teeth, his kibble needs to be moistened and mixed with soft canned food. Adoption fee is: $200 ALL adoptions require a completed application, vet check, home check and final contract. The application to adopt can be found at www.camorescue.com Adoption fees are variable. Up to date vaccines, microchip, spay/neuter are included in the fee. Once your application has been approved, we will put you in touch with a CAMO representative to set up a meet and greet. We select the best applicant for each dog, based on the dog's needs. For the safety of our small breed dogs and based on our past experiences, we will not place our dogs in homes with large breed dogs. EIN # 46-5486022

Story
Ollie is an 8 year-old with lots of energy. He loves long walks and will gladly lead the way to his favorite path for that day. This little guy is completely house trained! He is smart: knows sit, come, stay (but not all the time), wait, leave it, off, and “high-five”. When he’s wanting your attention he will tap gently on your knee, but sitting on your lap is on his terms. However, he loves to share your bed. If that is not your style he will gladly sleep in his wire crate, and from time-to-time will just go in to watch you getting ready. He has been crated when left alone in the house for periods of about 2 hours. Ollie is leash trained but will move ahead quickly until he is done with all his “business” and then relax into a neighborhood energetic walk. Dogs of all sizes can be his friend, but if he hasn’t met them face-to-face, he’s likely to let them know who rules the neighborhood. Can you believe he loves both toys and treats? He’s not a great fan of bicycles, scooters, motorcycles, and runners, and he will advertise his tastes. This little guy has a built in warning system, and it’s best to heed the warning, until he senses the “all clear”. So he would be best in an adult only home. His ambers eye are just irresistible! Ollie is neutered, microchipped, fully vaccinated, and up to date on all preventions — ready to start his next chapter with a forever family. Adoption Fee: $250 ALL adoptions require a completed application, vet check, home check and final contract. The application to adopt can be found at www.camorescue.com. Adoption fees are variable.
