Rescue experience.    Meet Gigi: A Story of Resilience and Hope Gigi’s journey began in a mass breeding facility, where her early life was marked by confinement and fear; used solely for profit. Thankfully, a kind rescuer saved Gigi and surrendered her to Loyal Rescue, giving her the chance to start a new chapter filled with love and hope. At first, Gigi was terrified of human contact, shying away at the slightest approach. But with time, patience, and love, she began to trust and discover joy. Now, Gigi curiously follows her foster family around, eager to see what they’re doing. She’s grown confident enough to explore other rooms on her own and often brings back a slipper or toy she finds—never causing any damage, just showing her playful spirit. Gigi sleeps peacefully in her crate overnight. Gigi will follow another dog when she is on a leash. Gigi loves car rides and is an absolute angel when it comes to baths, nail trims, and brushing—this girl loves to look and feel pretty! Her tail now wags with joy when you talk to her, and she adorably tilts her head, listening intently. When it’s mealtime, she’ll let out the cutest, low-key “lady like bark” to let you know she’s excited. It was a joy to hear her sweet little reminder bark. What Gigi Needs: Gigi needs an experienced owner who understands the needs of a skittish rescue dog. Stevie is a sweet playful boy. He is a curly haired non shedder who is a year old. He is a mix of what seems to be a westie or a maltese with a poodle perhaps. He loves to stand on his back legs and wave. Stevie is smart and does great with other dogs and is fine with cats. Stevie walks on a leash and is house trained. Stevie weighs about 25 pounds and is bigger than a maltese. One ear turns up and the other turns down. He is a mix of white and apricot and is all around adorable. He would love to go for rides and walks and be trained to do tricks and just have fun. He is neutered, up to date on shots, and healthy. This pretty Maltese girl Naru has lots of energy for 11 years young. She would love to find a family in Ontario to cuddle with and enjoy going for walks. Found as a stray and ended up in a government shelter in South Korea where the euthanasia rate is high. She was pulled by a local rescue as she was very sweet and healthy. Currently in a Toronto foster home Isak is an 8-month-old female Maltipoo who was once used as a grooming practice dog and later abandoned. Thankfully, she was rescued by Dream Tails Rescue and is now looking for a loving forever home. She weighs just 3.5kg and has a unique mix of Maltese and Poodle, giving her an adorable and charming appearance. Isak is incredibly affectionate, loves people, and enjoys playing with other dogs. She has a friendly and loving personality, making her a wonderful companion. However, since she previously lived in a wire-bottom cage, she has not yet been fully potty trained. Her adopter will need to patiently guide her in using pee pads, and due to her small size and young age, occasional accidents should be expected. She may also experience some separation anxiety when away from her human. As a playful puppy, Isak is full of energy and curiosity. She may get into mischief, but providing her with toys and engaging in playtime will help her release her energy in a positive way. While she requires a bit of extra care and guidance, her sweet and affectionate nature will help her adapt quickly.
