 Molly is a one year old maltese/yorkshire terrerier girl, or Morkie. She has gotten the nickname Mork from Ork due to her wonderful adventures and funny exploits. She needs a family that has high energy and a great sense of humor to tackle her amazing ways. She is around 16 pounds, potty trained, crate trained and a first class cuddler. She loves the large fenced yard she is at and runs with the big dogs. She is much like a big dog in a small dogs body, and is a real talker.  She is not the best with little children as she is a little bossy. To adopt this phenomenal girl, please do our application at www.pawsandprayers.org.   Her adoption fee is $400 but well worth it with all the love she gives. Story
Coconut is estimated to be around 9-months old and a Maltese mix weighing 9 pounds. She came to the shelter as a stray so her history is unknown. Coconut is the definition of a velcro dog! She needs to be close to her person at all times, and when we say close we mean stuck (like velcro) to you. Suspected separation anxiety. When left alone she cries (very loudly & dramatically)! Coconut is a bit nervous & shy, she's working on building her confidence, doesn't keep her from seeking affection. She's a little cuddle bug that loves to give kisses (she's a licker)! She needs work on all things puppy, housebreaking, leash manners, etc. Her butt wiggles will having you falling in love! Other dogs in the home will need to be respectful of her.Her adoption fee is $400, this includes her spay, heartworm test, vaccines current, deworming, heartworm/flea prevention and micro chipped. Her dog license is also required to be purchased for Sandusky County residents at time of adoption, which is an additional $21.00. Please visit the shelter to meet her, we show dogs Monday through Friday 1pm-4:30pm and Saturday 1pm-3:30pm. Once you have visited the shelter, you are then eligible to submit an adoption application for review. Please note, we do not offer same day adoptions and there is a $10 non-refundable application fee.Come and meet your new best friend today! The Humane Society of Sandusky County is open Monday -Friday 1pm - 5pm and Saturdays from 1pm - 4pm. Also, be sure to check us out on FaceBook!
