PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION AND REQUIREMENTS FOR ADOPTION FRANCESCA IS IN FOSTER CARE IN HOUSTON, TEXAS..THE ADOPTION FEE INCLUDES HER TRANSPORT This pretty Maltese mix is approx 2.5 to 3 yrs old and weighs 10 lbs She is a sweet little girl, but is a fear biter when in a crate and will growl at new people that she does not know.. once she feels comfortable with you she becomes your best friend and is the ultimate lap dog, she begs to sit on your lap... she is very needy and will follow you everywhere, she tends to get under her fosters feet and so is not suitable for an older person that may trip over her..she gets along with the other dogs her size and will run out to the yard with them, she seems to be fairly well house trained but not perfect and needs an owner that can work with her, and because she gets scared and is a fear biter we will not adopt to anyone with children she is a really nice little girl and is going to make a great companion for someone. we only adopt to experienced dog owners IF INTERESTED THERE IS AN APPLICATION ON OUR WEBSITE https://www.houstonshaggydogrescue.org The total adoption fee of $500 ( includes ,the transport, interstate health cert,spay/neuter, shots including rabies, bordatella, parvo, distemper ,canine influenza, and microchip. Feels uncomfortable with scissors on her face. * Walking: Enjoys slow walks, but tends to pull the leash in the direction she wants to go. * Car Sickness: Travels well in the car without any signs of motion sickness. * Is very gentle with no biting, even when touched or petted by strangers. * May bark softly when guests come into the house. * Is afraid of sudden sounds or movements and isn't used to being picked up or put on your lap. * Has allergies and is on an allergy diet. ** Health Status ** - Scaling done, two teeth extracted - Due to periodontitis, her gums have receded, causing instability in her teeth.
