Meet Bbang He must travel in-cabin, so we are currently only accepting applications from adopters who can pick up in Toronto or Calgary. • Name: Bbang • Age: 5 years • Sex: Neutered Male • Breed: Maltese • Color: White • Weight: 2.4 kg • Height (shoulder): 23 cm Rescue Story Bbang was left behind when his previous owner moved overseas. He was abandoned at a golf course where he had been a regular visitor. During his time there, he was unfortunately mistreated by some male guests and forced to stay in a storage area. A kind caretaker who looked after him reached out to us, hoping to find him a safe and loving forever home. Personality & Socialization (People) Bbang is a very affectionate and friendly little dog who loves people. He approaches both familiar faces and strangers with ease, often leaning in for pets and attention. In new environments, he may show a brief moment of shyness, but he quickly warms up—especially with treats—and does not show any guarding or defensive behavior. He is comfortable with men and has also done well around children he met at the park. He can be picked up easily and, once bonded, will happily roll over to show his belly for rubs. Socialization (Dogs) Bbang is polite and social with other dogs. He enjoys greeting both familiar and unfamiliar dogs but is not overly playful. He tends to avoid larger dogs at first and may be a bit intimidated by them. However, he is friendly with dogs of similar or smaller size and prefers calmer companions. High-energy dogs can feel overwhelming for him. Even when provoked, he chooses to avoid conflict rather than react. With Cats Bbang is currently living with a cat and has been doing very well. They even share the bed and sleep together. Energy Level He has a moderate energy level. He enjoys outdoor activities and walks, but settles down nicely and rests calmly afterward. ‍ Walks Bbang has good leash manners and does not pull. He prefers walking over excessive sniffing and follows his handler well. He is attentive outdoors and has shown good behavior, such as waiting calmly when cars pass. Additional Notes • May show food guarding toward humans (growling if touched while eating), but does not guard from other dogs • No excessive barking • Mild initial whining in a kennel, but settles within a few minutes • Enjoys car rides • Currently practicing for in-cabin flight travel using a carrier • Fully trained for both pee pads and outdoor potty • May mark in new environments Ideal Home Bbang would thrive in a loving home that understands small dog sensitivities and can provide a calm, stable environment. Toni is 10 yrs old, spayed, UTD vax. She loves everything and everyone. She has been diagnosed with a grade 5/6 heart murmur and collapsing trachea and has been prescribed medications and is doing well. She’s an extremely easygoing dog that was unfortunately found on the street all alone where found herself in a high kill animal shelter. Toni would be a great addition to any home. She needs someone to love her and she will give that love back 10 fold.

Casey is a cutie pie. He is a 6 yr old Maltese who has been through hell. He was surrendered to a high kill shelter because his owner could not afford vet care. She never did any vet care for him. An amazing sponsor covered all of Casey's numerous surgeries, : Neuter, Dental removing 20 teeth, a double hernia, a prolapsed rectum, but thanks to this angel Casey is now ready to find his forever home. Despite everything, Casey is always happy, He loves to play fetch and is great with dogs and kids. What Casey deserves is a family with a couple of well behaved kids ( he cannot be fed junk or table scraps), a small dog friend, and a fenced in yard on either Long Island or westchester. He needs a family who can afford any possible, future vet bills. I A new dilemma has arised: We are looking for a very special person to understand. Adorable Casey had several surgeries that his sponsor paid for. He had a double hernia repair, 20 teeth removed, neuter, and prolapsed rectum corrected ( with muscle taken from his little leg). He has been through hell at only 6 yrs old and 10 lbs. Sometimes hernia repairs don't take and it's already been repaired 2 times. At this point, it's not healthy to put him under anesthesia, yet again. It is not life threatening and all that you need to do it put a glove on and clean out of theB pouch from the hernia repair. He can still go to the bathroom like a normal pup, but some goes in that pouch. It's a small amount and we know not everyone would be willing to do this, but we also know there are loving adopters out there that want to help the ones that need us most Casey is a love, and this small issue should not prevent him from finding the home he deserves.He has been through so much. He is good w everyone he meets. If he had another dog, great. If not, more attention for him. He'd love kids, but we feel kids old enough to be gentle with this baby boy. He may need surgeries ahead, so someone that can afford giving him what he needs to be healthy and happy!
