Name: Clover Age: 3-4 years old Breed: Maltese Gender: Spayed Female Current Weight: 9.3lbs Estimated weight when grown: Full Grown House broke: Unknown (more than likely has frequent accidents) Good with Dogs: Was brought in with 4 others Good with Cats: Unknown Good with Children: Uknown Heartworm Test: Neg Adoption Fee: $100 Misc. Information: Clover was brought to the shelter with four other dogs after being abandoned. She arrived in heartbreaking condition severely matted, covered in feces, and suffering from a large laceration on her left front foot due to an embedded mat of hair. Shelter staff sedated her to carefully remove the painful matting, clean her wounds, and bandage her foot. She was also given Convenia, a long acting antibiotic, to help prevent infection. Despite everything that has happend, Clover has remained a sweet girl. However, she still has a lot of healing to do. Little is known about her past, but she is now searching for a loving home that will provide her with the care she truly deserves. She will need an owner who understands the importance of regular grooming and is committed to keeping her clean, comfortable, and well cared for. The shelter provides a 5-day health guarantee for adopted animals. This includes health conditions not present or known about by the shelter at the of adoption, which adopter becomes aware of within 5 days. Injuries or accidents that occur at the adopter's home are not covered. The shelter is not responsible for incurred costs from local veterinarians due to non-compliance. ALL adoptions are final! Animals can be returned to the shelter for any reason, however, there are NO refunds or exchanges.
