Story
Please contact Jamesa (roxysrescue@yahoo.com), 713-882-2610 for more information about this pet.Look at this beautiful tiny Maltese, FIONA is 2 years old an 7 pounds and will not get any bigger unless she is on a steady diet of cheeseburgers and I am sure she would love that.  She will not get any bigger and you can take her with you wherever you go.  She is quiet and travels easy.  She rides in the car well loving to look out the window.  She also walks very well on a little leash. FIONA has been looking for a real forever home since he previous one only used her to breed babies.  Heck, she is a baby herself and I treat her like one.  She is not very needy, easy on a daily basis.  She loves to curl up and cuddle with you but she is independent and crate trained.  She is good with or without other dogs.  She gets along with everyone. If you are interested in adopting FIONA please submit an application on the website below.  Thank you. www.roxysk9rescue.org   ADOPTION FEE & APPLICATION REQUIRED   Roxxy's K-9 Rescue does not have a shelter, all of our dogs are raised in foster homes.  Each dog comes  spay/neutered (fixed), rabies shots appropriate for their age, and dewormed twice.  The dogs are up to date on vaccinations according to their age at the time of adoption.  They are microchipped, heartworm tested and on monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventative.  ALL OF THIS IS INCLUDED IN THE ADOPTION FEE. We transport across the United States. Medical records will come with each dog at the time of adoption. Our organization is run by volunteers/foster parents, please be patient to give us time to respond to your emails and/or phone calls.  We will reply to you.  Thank you.         December 30, 2024, 1:31 pm

Story
Meet Milo!!!  This special boy is a 4 1/2 year old, 11 lbs maltipoo.  He is the complete package.  This sweet boy is good with other dogs both big and small.  He is also good with cats.  Milo is an active little guy that has the best time running and playing with his foster brothers and sisters.  They all have the best time in their fenced in yard.  Milo really enjoys playing but he is also all about the most important thing--YOU!  Milo loves his foster mom.  If she sits down he is right there.  If she goes to the kitchen Milo is right behind her to see if he can help.  At bed time, you got it, trotting down the hall with you.  This great guy would be an excellent companion for a young single person or a great addition to a family with children 6 and older.  (to our knowledge he has not been around toddlers and we don't want to set him up for failure.)  Milo is so small that he could go everywhere with you that doggies are allowed even in the airplane on vacation!  This boy does not want to be left behind.  Milo is ready for a late new year celebration when he meets his forever family.  Hopefully that will be with you.  To be considered for Milo's frever family and to request an application please contact Vivienne at viviennejames@comcaast.net.  APPROVED APPLICATION AND ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED.  (Milo is currently in Tennessee and can be transported north upon adoption.)January 6, 2025, 2:04 pm

Story
Meet Johnny, a super cute male maltese/yorkie mix! Johnny and his sister, Frances, were born to mama "Baby" on 12/6/2024 (mom is about 7 lbs).  Johnny is a typical happy, playful puppy who loves everyone (dogs, cats, people, and kids)! Young puppies are like blank slates who, with proper socialization and training, will grow into wonderful dogs! Johnny is medically up to date (age appropriate) and will be available at our next adoption event on 2/23 in Dayville, CT. Applications are being accepted now and we will review applications based on best fit for these puppies as the event gets closer. Click HERE for Adoption Application: pawsrescueleague.org/adopt   Adoption fees vary based on the dog and are not negotiable. As a small rescue that does not receive government funding or grants, we rely on adoption fees to stay afloat. Adoption fees help cover the following: vaccinations, wellness exams, heartworm/4DX testing, parasite prevention, spay/neuter (age-appropriate), microchipping, transport expenses, and other rescue-related overhead/administrative costs. Paws Rescue League, Inc is an all-inclusive rescue that does NOT only rescue puppies and young, healthy dogs.  We make a point to also rescue seniors, dogs with special needs, moms, and other “less desirable” dogs, knowing that we will likely incur higher veterinary expenses and that these dogs may take longer to get adopted.  As such, an individual adoption fee is not only reimbursing PRL for expenses directly related to that dog, but it is also helping us to continue our mission of taking in dogs that would otherwise be too much of a financial burden to save. We believe that ALL dogs deserve a second chance. Thank you for your support and understanding! ##2288710##

Story
Lukas is a 11 1/2 years old, he is been a very good dog all his life. He never bites no one, but the only thing is that how he is old he doesn’t like to be bothered by another dog. He used to have more space but we just moved and being so sad not to have enough space for him. He enjoys attention but he also loves to be alone.
