I am 16lbs and I am looking for my forever home. Adoption Donation: $450 All dogs are microchipped, neutered, current on all vaccines, heartworm tested (if age appropriate), and up-to-date on preventatives at the time of adoption. All household members and any dogs from the household need to be present to be able to adopt. A photo ID will be required at the time of adoption. Appointments are recommended. All applications are considered general. Specific animals are NOT put on hold for adoption. When you visit, our adoption counselors will be able to make suggestions based on the type of pet you are looking for and help you find the best fit for your family. Animal House Shelter cannot guarantee the breeds of the adoptable animals. The animals are posted on the website as the breed or breed mix based on their physical characteristics they most resemble. We also cannot guarantee the ages of our adoptable animals or how large puppies will be when fully grown. We look forward to seeing you soon! Spike is a handsome maltipoo mix. He can be a little shy at first, it takes him a minute to trust someone and warm up. But once he does, you have best friend for life! He is a very happy cuddly dog. Spike has the most fun natural blonde Mohawk that just adds to his charm! DOB 5/8/24 and around 25 lbs. Spike prefers a home without cats and, honestly, would do best as the only furry companion. He can be a bit of an attention hog and doesn’t like to share his favorite human! He would also do best in a home with no kids or kids over 12, who will respect his personal space while he adjusts to a new environment. After discussing with the family, they thought it was in her best interest to find a new home and furever family that could give her all the love and attention she deserves! Olive’s favorite things include snuggling, being close to her humans, and getting her favorite treats throughout the day. She has no interest in toys and would do best in a calm, relaxed household. She has been around kids and would do best in a home with children 10+ years old and other dogs who respect her space. Hi friends, my name is Star! I am a 4.5 year old female Maltese and I weigh about 10 pounds. I'm new to this foster home situation but I'm enjoying sniffing around and investigating! I like to follow the other dogs here since they seem to know the ropes. I'm a little nervous around new humans but I warm up. I even lay at my foster mom's feet and let her pick me up! I sleep quietly in my crate over night and I'm working on potty training, but I hope my future family will be patient and ready to continue working with me! Sometimes, I catch a glimpse of myself in the mirror and I must say, I'm quite cute, so you should meet me and see for yourself. I will even sit up on my hind legs for you!
