Pickles was turned into the shelter along with 8 others - including many of his littermates. They were not well socialized with humans but opened up a little every day and are doing well with humans and other dogs in the home. Pickles has turned out to be the most adventurous, the first to try something new. His interaction with his foster mom is getting better every day. He is doing well with house traing and crate training and bravely tackling leash walking. Pickles is not suitable with small children as he is still building confidense and learning to be brave. Aspen is 1 of 6 litter mates turned in at the shelter when he was almost 1 year old. They did not have much socialization with humans and he is working hard to trust and bond with is foster mom. Aspen has very beautiful and distinctive coloring, white with a pink nose and pale eyes. He is gentle but still quite shy and will do best in a home with another dog to help him with his confidence. He is doing well with house training but still needs supervision. He is not suitable for a home with small children as he is still working on his confidence and house training' Aspens adoption Fee is $325. Story
If I look sad, it’s because I was dropped off at the shelter when my owner got sick. A couple of days after being rescued, I also got very sick. I have some kidney issues but with good veterinary care and lots of TLC I’m doing better every day. I’m a calm quiet fellow who gets along with all the pups at rescue. My personality is coming out slowly. I'm a little cautious of where I am and who's caring for me since it's been confusing to be shuttled around so much. I’m hoping to find my forever home soon.

Max is an adorable senior Maltese looking for his forever family! He weighs just 8lbs, and is estimated to be around 10yr old. This little guy is full of life and love, and enjoys the company of his brother Ace. These two lifelong buddies ended up at an overcrowded shelter together, and we would love for them to be adopted as a pair. Max loves to receive attention, and his favorite place to be is in your lap! Although he is older, that doesn&#39t slow him down - he loves to play with toys, wrestle with his bigger brother, and run around in his fenced yard. He is house broken, knows his basic commands, and has wonderful leash manners. Max&#39s brother Ace is a beautiful Siberian Husky. He is very smart, sweet, and is dog and kid friendly. Max often looks to Ace for reassurance and allows him to take the lead. Please see Ace&#39s bio for full details on him. Max is a total snuggle bug who would love nothing more than a warm lap to spend his days cuddled up in! He would do great in any household, and is also kid friendly.
