Hi friends! I’m Pauley, your future 10-pound shadow who believes that love is the only compass you really need. At 9 years young, I’m a mature Maltese gentleman whose eyes might be a little cloudy, but my spirit shines bright! I can see shadows and navigate by following your voice - it’s like my personal GPS to happiness. I’m your ultimate kitchen assistant (especially when treats are involved) and a champion cuddler who’s mastered the art of couch companionship. Just help me up and down, and I’m golden! I get along with other dogs — there are several in my foster home and I do just fine. I haven’t met a cat yet but if they are dog-savvy and gentle then we could probably be friends. I’m very friendly to all humans but no small kids (12 and up would be fine). I have good house manners especially when I’m on a routine to go out often. I am a smart cookie…already mapped out my foster home and how to get to the back door and to the grass. I hope my future family has someone who is home more often than not. A few more things you will love about me — I’m crate-trained, I ride great in the car and I have good leash walking skills…love getting out and about and sniffing the beautiful world. I’m learning to play with toys but my favorite hobby is EATING! LOL. My four remaining teeth work just perfectly so don’t hold anything back! I’m proof that the most beautiful souls sometimes come in packages that need a little extra TLC. Could you be my guiding light? I promise to give you my whole heart! Hello! My name is Galileo. I'm an adorable little Maltese puppy hoping for a home for the holidays! I am just the cutest little boy and currently weigh in at 4.5 lbs. I'm estimated at around 4 months old as of mid-December and came into the rescue with my lookalike buddy CaspianMy adoption fee is more than most other puppies and dogs at my rescue, but I'm told that I'm a more 'desirable' puppy than my other friends who are not as fortunate and will be at the rescue much longer than me, waiting for their forever home. My adopter will know that their fee will be helping support the other 200 or so animals at the rescue and not lining a breeder's pockets. My $1650 adoption fee includes vet exam, up to date vaccines, deworming, initial grooming, microchip, and neuter at one of my rescue's vets (Fort Myers, Port Charlotte, Naples or Orlando) when I'm closer to 6 months of age.
