They were surrendered to Lil Rascals by their owner because she didn’t want to care for them any longer after having them their entire lives. Bear is an 8-year-old possible Maltese mix and weighs 14 pounds. He is such a sweet boy. He is a quiet and gentle and loving little soul. He loves to sit close to you while watching TV and asks for belly rubs. He is always ready for a snack. Bear loves to go on walks with his mom and they walk great together. Sometimes they bark at other dogs on the walk but Bear is a good little listener. Bear loves to play with squeaky toys. Bear is house trained and sits quietly with his mom on car rides and also sleeps quietly all night beside Chanel in their foster mom’s bedroom. He gets along with all his fur siblings and loves people and would love to find a quiet home with Chanel. She is good with baths, and loves to rub on the grass to dry herself. She is so adorable and affectionate, and gets along with all her fur siblings. Chanel loves to play with squeaky toys. She is house trained and is great on walks with Bear by her side, and is also good on car rides. Chanel sleeps quietly all night in their foster mom‘s bedroom. Barbara is a 14-year-old Maltese who originally belonged to my mother. Unfortunately, my mother is now seriously ill and can no longer care for her, and I stepped in to help. As Barbara has continued to age, her needs have increased beyond what I’m able to manage in my current situation. She is a sweet, gentle senior who has been deeply loved her whole life. At this stage, she is experiencing age-related incontinence and anxiety/whining, which require a calm environment, patience, and experience with senior dogs. I’m looking for a compassionate, senior-friendly home ideally someone experienced with elderly dogs, incontinence, and end-of-life care. A quieter home with someone who is present more often would be best for her comfort and well-being.
