NAME:  Hermie BREED:  Maltese mix SEX:  male COLOR:  white/tan AGE:  estimated DOB Dec 2021 WEIGHT:  10 lbs FOSTERED BY: LOCATED IN: NOTES FROM FOSTER FAMILY: Hermie came to us with a few other dogs (possibly siblings) that were in involved in a hoarding/neglect case.  He has been with us quite a while and unfortunately still has some effects from his past.  He will need a quiet adult only home with someone that has experience with fearful dogs like this.  He would do best in a home with a dog about his size that is outgoing & wanting to be his friend to help him adjust.  Securely fenced yard required. NOTE:  Local applications are given first priority and some out of town areas will not be able to be processed. NAME:  Roger BREED:  Maltipoo SEX:  male COLOR:  black/white AGE:  2 yrs as of Oct 2024 WEIGHT:  9.5 lbs FOSTERED BY: LOCATED IN: NOTES FROM FOSTER FAMILY:  Hello I’m Roger I’m know I’m Really adorable …, but I need some one who is REALLY willing to work with me.  I don’t understand any command yet(come, sit, stay, play fetch, etc) and in fact I would stay in my safe place all day if you let me. I’ll eat at night after you goto bed, and I do my best to do my business on the pee pad. I do have a few nervous pees.   I’m really quiet and really sweet - just need to learn to be a dog. I haven’t really barked, only a small growl if I’m very scared. But I don’t bite.  That said, I’m making progress every day. I getting used to my foster mom and enjoy sitting with her from time to time when she pulls me from my safe place. I love my morning, afternoon, and evening walks and learning to do “my business” on every walk. I get very skittish with aggressive dogs but love the calm ones.  I would be perfect in a home with no young children, a fenced back yard would be ideal, another nice dog, and just need alittle patience.  I think I could be your best friend forever with a little work. Hi guys! My name is Matthew and I am a 10 year young 10 lb maltese boy looking for my forever home. Foster mommy says I am th cutest and sweetest little fur ball that has become her "shadow" around the house. I guess I just LOVE people- specially the ladies- come to think of it though I just love everyone...dogs, cats, lizards etc...nothing bothers me and I am a totally chill little boy. Foster mommy showers me with attention and treats and I LOVE IT! I came from a backyard breeder and was her favorite so she kept me inside and not in a cage- but I didn't receive as much attention as I wanted ...still, I was the lucky one and now I am even more blessed now that I am with FCCR- the girls have promised to find me my perfect forever loving home.....if you think that is with you please fill out an application at www.floridacockerrescue.org ADOPTION FEE: $300.00
