Story
Meet Bert and Ernie, two lovable Maltese mixes who are looking for their forever home! Bert is a charming black male who, though a bit shy at first, quickly warms up to those around him. He has a gentle and sweet nature, and once he feels comfortable, hell happily show you just how affectionate he can be. These two were found as strays, so we don't know much about their past, but what we do know is that they share a special bond with each other. We estimate they are between 3 and 4 years old and are hoping to find a home where they can be adopted together, as they seem to thrive on each others company. These two will be on a stray hold until 12/29 to give their owners a chance to claim them. After that date, both dogs will be neutered on 1/9 and will be and ready to go home. An adoption fee of $350.00 will cover the neuter, microchipping and vaccinations. If you're looking for a pair of loving companions, Bert and Ernie could be the perfect fit for your family! Please visit our website www.petsnpals.org to learn more about this amazing pet and to see other available dogs and cats.

Story
Dominic is the sweetest little guy you will ever meet. He's 8 lbs of pure love. After being found as a stray and being shaved, neutered, lots of teeth removed, top of head stitched up and lots of eye drops (forever), he still loves to go for walks, get hugged and kissed, hang out with his fosters other dogs, sit on your lap (all the time). He is super easy to bathe, quiet, uses the dog door 99% of the time, and sleeps through the night on top of the bed. 13-year-old Dominic has some hearing loss and will grab at food in your hand but doesn't bite. He likes tomatoes and cucumbers from the garden and shares his food with the other dogs. He will need eye medicine for tear production the rest of his life and is a good boy when putting the drops in. Dominic is good with other dogs and is an easygoing boy. His favorite forever home will be where he has a lap to sit on and someone home with him for much of the day.

Story
ADOPTION PENDING Marlie is a sweet and spunky 4-year-old Maltese-Yorkie mix (Morkie) who is full of love and energy! She’s the kind of dog who brings joy to every moment. Marlie adores her walks, playtime, and especially her toys—her absolute favorite being "Foxy Brown," a squeaky toy she’ll fetch on command. This smart little girl knows lots of commands, including sit, down, paw, “get your toy,” and of course, “Where’s Foxy Brown?” She’s potty trained to use a pad indoors, but she’s clever enough to learn outdoor potty habits, too, if that’s what her new family prefers. One of Marlie’s most adorable traits is her love for getting dressed up! She has her own little wardrobe of outfits to choose from, and she’ll stand very still to make sure her outfit looks just right. Seeing her strut her stuff in her stylish attire will melt your heart! Marlie also loves going for car rides and thrives on adventure! She gets so excited to see every view out of every window, so she’ll need a doggy seatbelt to keep her safe while she takes it all in. She’s a curious little companion who enjoys following you around the house, almost as if she’s trying to learn everything you do. If you really want to see her light up with joy, just ask, “Do you want to go for a walk?” But be sure you mean it because once you say it, she’ll hold you to it and expect you to follow through with her favorite activity! Marlie is familiar with a crate and will willingly spend time in it. With consistent training, she could easily become fully crate trained if that’s what her new family prefers. Marlie loves being pampered with back, neck, and belly scratches. And if you’re up for a game of tug-of-war, she’ll happily oblige. She’s great at letting you know what she needs—whether it’s with a few gentle pats or by bringing you a toy when she’s ready to play. She’s good with kids over 10 (we haven’t had the chance to see her with younger ones) and currently lives harmoniously with another dog. They love to zoom around the house and yard together! Speaking of zoomies, get ready for a joyous welcome when you come home because Marlie loves to show her excitement with happy zoomies around the room. Marlie isn’t big on human food but does enjoy the occasional plain cracker or a nibble of turkey. She’s a loving companion who thrives on connection and playfulness. Rehoming Marlie is a heart-wrenching decision for us. Due to my mobility challenges, my daughter assists in my care, and while Marlie adores her most of the time, she becomes protective of me during moments when I’m vulnerable. This has led to some challenges and my daughter being bit. For everyone’s safety and well-being, we’ve decided to find Marlie a forever home where she can flourish with a family who can give her the love and attention she deserves. Marlie is truly a wonderful dog who will bring endless love, laughter, curiosity, and style to her new family. We’re hoping to find her a home where she can continue to thrive and brighten her new family’s life. If interested, please fill out an adoption questionnaire.

Meet Curtis 🎉🐾 Curtis is a 2yr old 8lb, Poodle/Maltese mix. Curtis is as cute as they come! Curtis is a super sweet boy who loves everyone. Curtis is playful, sweet, submissive, and treat motivated. Curtis does need to learn basic manners, so being he is treat motivated will make training a breeze. Curtis is missing his eye, but that doesn’t slow him down, and no other treatment will be needed. Curtis loves his people and can be vocal about it. Curtis is very excited to be with his person and he will let you know, he can be a talker… hahaha. Curtis would do great in a home that is active. Curtis would also do great being a shopping buddy since he loves everyone and he’s small enough to fit in a large pocket..hahahaha. Curtis is neutered, microchipped, up to date on his vaccines and his rabies vaccine. If you are interested in meeting Curtis please fill out an application at www.broketailrescue.org, located under the contact tab.
