She was rescued from the shelter, and after a slow, careful start, she’s been blossoming into the kind of dog who makes your heart swell with every small step forward. Kitten is a gentle soul who takes her time to trust, but once she does, she becomes a loyal little shadow—especially to her favorite humans. In her current foster home, she’s built a sweet and special bond with her 10-year-old human buddy, and the two have become a devoted fetch-playing duo. She’s also warming up to younger kids and has begun seeking pets and connection on her own terms. With the people she trusts, she is affectionate, playful, and full of personality. Her daily routine is peaceful and predictable—just how she likes it. She wakes up early and heads outside for a potty break, enjoys some morning playtime, then settles into her crate for a long nap. Mealtimes are relaxed, and she has plenty of quiet time in between spurts of play and affection. Evenings are her favorite, when she gets the zoomies and enthusiastically chases toys with her favorite girl. Kitten is house-trained, sleeps calmly in her crate, and communicates when she needs to go outside. She’s playful but not demanding, cuddly but not clingy. She’s still learning to feel safe around new people and visitors, and while she’s made great strides, she’ll always do best in a calm home where her people understand that some dogs need time to feel safe. While she’s making progress around other dogs (and can ignore them on leash in the yard), she’s not comfortable sharing her space with them and is protective of her pen. Kitten must be the only pet in her home. With professional support and time, she may eventually feel more neutral around dogs, but right now she needs a home where she can feel completely secure and not have to share her space or her people. Kitten’s ideal home is quiet, structured, and patient. She doesn’t need a lot—just someone who can offer routine, security, and a lot of love on her terms. She’s not a dog for someone expecting instant affection, but for the right person, she’s a deeply rewarding companion who offers a special kind of devotion. If you’re someone who finds beauty in the quiet moments, and joy in the slow unfolding of trust, Kitten may be the perfect match. She doesn’t need fireworks. She just needs someone to see her, to give her the space she needs, and to celebrate each step she takes toward love.    December 12, 2025, 3:44 am

Our adoption fees vary. Each biography will specifically list the adoption fee.Adoption fee: $750   Brr... it's cold outside! It's the perfect time for you to adopt one of the Brr puppies, an irresistibly sweet litter of Maltese/Terrier mix babies who are ready to find their forever homes. These five pups had a rough start, having been dumped at a shelter when they were just five weeks old, but thanks to foster care they have blossomed into happy, curious, and loving 8 week old puppies who are eager to take on the world with their future families.       Daily Life & Routine   The Brr Puppies start their day around 7:00 am. First up is a trip to the pee pads, which they are learning to use as part of their potty training. While they’re still very much puppies and accidents happen, they’re getting lots of practice and positive reinforcement. After that, they spend a little time in their crate while their pen is cleaned and refreshed.       Breakfast and water are served around 7:30 am, and fresh water is offered about every hour throughout the day to keep these growing pups well hydrated. They enjoy lunch around noon, an afternoon feeding between 4:30–5:00 pm, and a small snack before bedtime around 8:30–9:00 pm. Their days are filled with naps, playtime, cuddles, and plenty of puppy mischief in between.       Puppy Personalities           Icicle is the most outgoing of the group. Confident, curious, and full of personality, she loves attention and wants to be right in the middle of whatever is happening. She enjoys exploring new spaces and is always eager for interaction and fun.           Snowflake is right behind Icicle in confidence. She is affectionate, social, and loves being held and entertained. Snowflake is inquisitive and excited by new experiences, making her a great little adventure buddy in the making.           Frosty is playful with a thoughtful side. She tends to take a moment to observe new situations before jumping in. Initially she may try to stay back when faced with something unfamiliar, but once she sees her siblings having fun, she happily joins the action and shows her playful spirit.           Blizzard is the most gentle of the bunch. He’s perfectly content to sit quietly on your lap, soaking in affection, before eventually relaxing and drifting off to sleep. He has a calm, soothing presence and thrives on quiet companionship.           Flurry is the ultimate snuggle bug. With her big, soulful eyes, she melts hearts instantly and loves curling up close— often snuggling right into your neck. While her siblings may be busy playing, Flurry is the one most likely to crawl under a blanket and snooze peacefully.           What They’re Like as a Group   The Brr Puppies adore playing with each other and their toys, tumbling and wrestling in classic puppy fashion. They are still young and can startle at loud or sudden noises, but when they feel safe and secure, they happily give sweet puppy kisses and soak up affection. They are learning every day and will thrive in homes ready to continue their socialization, training, and confidence-building with patience and love.       These little ones are at a wonderful age to bond deeply with their adopters and grow into affectionate, loyal companions. Each puppy has a unique personality, but all share the same need for gentle guidance, consistency, and plenty of cuddles as they begin their next chapter.December 22, 2025, 4:26 pm

Meet Top Hat — The Little Gentleman With Big Potential Age: 2 years old Breed: Maltipoo Weight: 12 lbs Coat: Nonshedding Good with dogs: Absolutely! Top Hat may be small, fluffy, and adorable, but let us be perfectly clear: This charming Maltipoo needs a home where humans run the show, not him. Who Top Hat Really Is Top Hat is a smart, sensitive little guy who absolutely thrives when he knows someone else is confidently calling the shots. When he first came to us, he was wound tight—fearful, reactive, unsure who to trust. But with structure, leadership, and consistency, this dog transformed. He now looks to his person for direction. He listens. He relaxes. He wants to please. Give him rules, and he blossoms. Let him be in charge… and he’ll book a one-way ticket to Chaosville. His Secret Sauce? A Trainer Who Cracked the Code. Our amazing trainer quickly figured out exactly what Top Hat needs: Calm but confident leadership Clear direction Quick corrections when needed Lots of praise when he gets it right She has taught him to accept handling, ignore his reactive impulses, and focus on his person. He is incredibly receptive and wants desperately to be a good boy — he just needs someone to show him how. We are so committed to his success that we will waive his adoption fee if the adopter signs up for a minimum of 4 sessions with his current trainer. She’ll teach you his language and set both of you up for a lifetime of success. Who He Needs Top Hat needs an adopter who:Isn’t intimidated by a dog with opinionsCan follow a trainer’s guidanceHas experience or is willing to learnWill commit to structure, routine, and clear rulesIs confident, calm, and consistent He is NOT a dog for someone who wants to spoil him, coddle him, or let him “just be cute.” He is not a decorative accessory. He is a dog with tremendous potential — the right owner will see him become the affectionate, funny, loyal little companion he’s meant to be. Who He Is When He Feels Safe With leadership and boundaries, Top Hat is:SweetLovingPlayfulDog-friendlyAttentiveA total goofball with the people he trusts A truly magical dog has emerged now that he finally feels safe. Our adoption fees vary. Each biography will specifically list the adoption fee.Adoption fee: $800 Zoey is a 12–14 week old Morkie puppy who weighs about 10 pounds and is absolutely brimming with personality, energy, and affection. She is very much a puppy in every sense of the word—busy, curious, playful, and deeply attached to her people.   Her day usually starts around 7:00 am with an immediate trip out to the yard. Once she’s in, it’s go-go-go playtime until breakfast. Zoey needs frequent potty breaks throughout the day, especially with every change in activity, although she tends to think outdoor trips are just another chance to zoom, chase, and play. She spends her days in an office space with her foster and the resident dogs, happily playing with her foster brother Uno, napping between bursts of activity, and keeping things lively. She can be vocal, especially when she wants to play, eat, or has strong opinions about toy-sharing, so muted Zoom calls are part of her current routine.   In the evening, dinner is around 5:00 pm, followed by more play, chew toys, and puppy antics before bedtime around 10:00 pm. Zoey has learned to accept her crate with minimal fuss, though she may wake during the night and whine for a potty break, which she gets. She does not love being confined in a pen, but she can settle when her person is nearby, especially if she knows she’s not alone.   When Zoey first arrived, she was a velcro puppy— very timid in the yard and unsure about the other dogs, preferring to stay glued to her person. Since then, she’s grown braver and more confident, especially with canine friends. She now happily pounces, wrestles, and chases with Uno (a young dog), while remaining respectful of the older dog in the house. Her preference, however, will always be to be close to her human. When you sit down, she wants to be right there, often perched along the back of the couch with her head resting on your shoulder. She is affectionate, trusting, and loving, with a gentle soul wrapped in a playful, wiggly puppy body.   Zoey is energetic and playful, with plenty of zoomies and enthusiasm, but she balances that with sweet snuggle sessions and a strong desire for comfort from her people. She’s not overly bold or brash, but she is curious and eager to explore, sometimes needing reassurance with new sounds or sights. She is food motivated and already knows how to sit for meals and treats, which makes her a fun candidate for continued training. Potty training has been more challenging for her than for some puppies, and she will need a patient, diligent adopter committed to consistency.   She has not started leash walking yet and is still very much focused on mastering the basics of puppy life. Zoey has sharp puppy teeth, so her foster recommends lots of options for safe chewing.   Zoey would thrive in an active home that’s ready for the time, energy, and structure a young puppy needs. Another playful dog would be a bonus, though not a requirement, as long as she gets plenty of socialization, engagement, and companionship. She enjoys being part of the action and does best when she feels connected to her people.   What sets Zoey apart is her joyful, wiggly zest for life. She is a happy little puppy who loves deeply, plays hard, and charms everyone she meets—especially when she does her adorable little bow for treats, followed by those irresistible puppy-dog eyes that somehow make all the chaos feel completely worth it.December 21, 2025, 9:53 pm

Each biography will specifically list the adoption fee.Adoption fee: $750 Meet Pudding Pop — a 2 year old, 12-pound poodle mix with a soft coat, a tender heart, and an unmatched talent for cuddling. Rescued from the shelter, Pudding Pop has settled beautifully into foster life and is ready to find a forever home where he can share his love, loyalty, and impressive snuggling skills.   Daily Routine   Pudding Pop starts his day between 7:00–8:00 am with a 20–30 minute morning walk, which he truly enjoys. He walks nicely on leash, happily keeping pace and not pulling. After returning home, it’s breakfast time. Pudding Pop isn’t one to gobble food straight from a bowl— instead, he prefers to work for it. Asking him to sit before meals helps him eat more, and he especially loves his kibble served in a Kong, which keeps his smart brain engaged.   Mornings often include a little playtime, either with his foster sister or with his absolute favorite toy: tennis balls. When playtime winds down, Pudding Pop transforms into the perfect work-from-home companion. He loves curling up next to his person on the couch or snoozing in a bed nearby while you work. He is happiest when he’s close.   Around noon, he heads out for another shorter walk. Dinner is served around 6:00 pm, followed by an evening walk and playful time with his foster sister. Around 8:00 pm, he typically gets a case of the zoomies, followed by a more relaxed evening.   At bedtime, Pudding Pop sleeps in a crate in the bedroom. He sleeps through the night with no accidents. While he is still adjusting to crate life, he does well as long as he knows his people are nearby. If he thinks he’s alone, he may whine or bark briefly— but once reassured that you’re in the room, he settles in and sleeps soundly until morning.   Personality   Pudding Pop is the definition of a velcro dog. When he first arrived, he was shy and cautious, taking his time to approach while his foster sat quietly. Once he realized he was safe, everything changed— he hasn’t left their side since. He follows his person from room to room and seeks out every opportunity to cuddle. He is happiest curled up next to you, often fast asleep with full trust and contentment.   He can be hesitant around new people, both on walks and when visitors enter the home. He may bark at unfamiliar faces at first, but this quickly melts away once he understands they’re friendly. With a little space, redirection, praise, and treats, he can stay focused as people pass by. Once he warms up, he becomes a total lovebug who wants pets and snuggles from everyone.   Pudding Pop has shown no aggression toward people or dogs, though he may resource guard food or treats. For this reason, he does best when meals and treats are given separately from other dogs. With this simple management in place, he thrives and remains his sweet, gentle self.   Dogs, Play, & Social Life   Pudding Pop lives with a 25-pound female dog who is much taller than him, and the two are best friends. They play respectfully morning and night, and Pudding Pop does a great job reading her cues and giving her space when she wants downtime.   On leash, he may bark at dogs or people he sees across the street, but with proper introductions— like a parallel walk— he adjusts quickly. After a short introduction, he walked happily alongside his foster sister with no issues and now enjoys her companionship daily.   Energy Level & Play   Pudding Pop strikes a lovely balance between playful and calm. He loves to play with toys, especially tennis balls and Kongs, and enjoys interactive play with both humans and dogs. That said, he is excellent at settling down. If no one is available to play, he is perfectly content entertaining himself briefly or curling up next to you for a nap.   Training & Manners   Housetrained: Yes; only two accidents early on during adjustment   Crate-trained: Overnight, with reassurance   Leash skills: Walks nicely, no pulling   Barking: Mostly at unfamiliar people, dogs, or sudden noises but not a nuisance barker   Chewing: Appropriate; enjoys toys and enrichment   Learning: Smart, eager to please, already learning “sit”   He also loves car rides, making him a great little adventure buddy.   A Favorite Quirk   Pudding Pop loves tennis balls so much that he’s learned how to play fetch with himself— picking up the ball, nudging it off the edge of the couch, and chasing it down with delight. It’s just one of many charming habits that make him such a joy to be around.     Pudding Pop is a gentle, affectionate, and intelligent little dog who simply wants to love and be loved in return. His devotion, sweetness, and unmatched cuddling ability make him truly special. For someone looking for a loyal companion who will happily be by their side—on walks, on the couch, and everywhere in between—Pudding Pop is ready to fill that role completely.December 22, 2025, 4:49 pm
