Story
Mr. Little Potato Head! What a great name. To our best knowledge, probably a maltese poodle mix, he's approximately 3 years old and weights about 14 pounds. He is great with people and children. He walks well on a leash but does like to bark at other dogs, but will settle when you correct him. He loves to eat and is very food/treat motivated. He must have had a family before as he settled in with his foster very easily. He does well in car rides and loves his daily walks. Are you ready to incorporate him into your family!? SF Bay Area Adoptions only, please email if interested.

Story
No. Dot Com, the peewee Maltese Yorkie mix currently setting the Muttville world afire with dainty adorability, did not get an ear lift. Those highflying beacons of lace-trimmed glamour are natural. Or supernatural. Real for sure. So is her gentility and quiet curiosity. Firm on her feet and friendly to new people, dogs and experiences, she takes it all in with magnanimity - and the intention of using it in poetry she composes whilst sunbathing. She may be a scant 7 lbs, but girl can do the stairs! Nothing left to do but adopt her this instant. Here's some notes from her foster: Dottie (DotCom) is just waiting to become your teeny, bubbly, new best friend! Dot’s favorite things are attention, food and especially people who give her attention and food! This friendly girl is great at reading the room— if you’re up and doing stuff around the house, she’ll be chasing you, running around and paying attention to what you’re doing. If you’re chilling out, watching tv, doing some work… she’ll calmly find a comfy spot near by to take a nap, or sneak in some cuddles. Dottie sleeps through the night, likes other dogs, enjoys car rides, loves being outside going on walks or being carried in a sling. I believe Dottie was trained to use a pee pad as I’ve seen her use the one intended for one of my own dogs multiple times, but I keep her on a schedule and still take her out every few hours. Dot is tiny in size, but has a huge personality- silly, sassy, sweet..mixed with perfect amount of crazy bedhead, you just can’t help falling in love with her! Dottie is going to bring so much love and laughter into your home. I can’t wait until she find the perfect forever family she deserves!

Story
All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, shots current (DHPP, Bordetella and Rabies where applicable), dewormed, flea and tick treated, and microchipped.  * If you are interested in a dog, please first read the biography on the dog (keep scrolling down for the bio!) and then go to our website, www.dpsrescue.com for an application. Our adoption fees vary. Each biography will specifically list the adoption fee.Adoption Fee: $850   Snowflake is a 4 month old Maltese x Miniature Poodle (Maltipoo) ready to brr-ing cuteness and cuddles to his forever home! Snowflake was surrendered to our rescue with his brother, Icicle. We don’t know the circumstances of their life before rescue, but we promised their futures would be fabulous! Snowflake weighs 10 pounds and we expect he will be in the 15-18 pound range when he reaches his adult weight. His gorgeous non-shedding coat will require regular grooming to ensure he stays floofy and fab! If you’re ready for a Winter Wonderland, adopt Mr. Snowflake!       Snowflake is a snuggly little puffball who is hoping to find a warm lap to cuddle the cold winter nights away on. Snowflake is absolutely the Mama’s boy of the brother duo and he is happiest when he is following you around and checking out what’s going on in the household. While Snowflake is a bit more timid at first than his brother, we expect that once he is given the chance to blossom, he will quickly discover his confidence and run his house! Snowflake loves a good belly rub and is always down to cuddle and nap with you as you watch TV or read a book. He loves his toys and his favorites are the plush ones with the little squeakers, as he pounces on them like he was a cat in another life! Snowflake effortlessly charms everyone he meets with his quiet and sensitive temperament, though don’t let that fool you into thinking he doesn’t get the absolute best zoomies when he’s ready for some playtime! He’s like if a perfect cloud came to life inside of the body of an adorable puppy. Fluffy and ready for some love!  Snowflake wakes up at 7 AM and trots outside to practice going potty. The boys come inside for breakfast and then play with the resident human kids until they head off to school. During the day, the puppies alternate between playing with their toys, chasing eachother around, or snoozing in one of their dog beds. They have a snack around lunchtime followed by a well-deserved afternoon siesta. Once everyone comes home from school, they get their zoomies out by racing around the backyard, tumbling over the fields of snow (and laughing all the way). Dinner is served at 6 PM followed by more cuddles and snuggles on the couch. They sleep through the night in their puppy pen. Snowflake gets along very well with other dogs and would be a fabulous playful addition to any home, whether or not they currently have a dog. He has been fostered with kids of all ages and adores them. Interested homes should be prepared to discuss continued plans for grooming and socialization to ensure these puppies are well-behaved adult canine citizens. We also expect homes to have a plan for grooming. If you’re ready for the sweetest icy addition to your family, adopt Snowflake!     Snowflake is only an option for homes who have owned a dog of their own in the last 5 years. Kids should be over the age of 7. December 28, 2024, 5:49 pm

Icicle weighs 9 pounds and we expect he will be in the 15-18 pound range when he reaches his adult weight. His gorgeous non-shedding coat will require regular grooming to ensure he stays floofy and fab! If you’re ready for a Winter Wonderland, adopt Mr. Icicle!      Icicle is an outgoing, loving, and absolutely adorable puppy who can’t wait to charm you from the minute you meet him! He is the perfect puppy blend of playful, rambunctious, and cuddly once he’s gotten his energy out. He is known to pounce into any open laps in search of all the cuddles he can. He wants to be part of the action and will happily follow you around the house as you go about your day. He’s like the cutest, most fluffy little shadow in the entire world. Icicle loves his humans and is always ready to give you kisses or cuddles, pillowing into your lap as you turn on a holiday movie and get cozy on the couch. Our favorite thing about Icicle is that his favorite way to move around the world is by being carried like a little baby. It is absolutely adorable! We have no doubt that Icicle will be the talk of the town as he struts down the street, as he turns heads wherever he goes! If “making new friends” is on your 2025 resolution list, Icicle will make himself the star of any dog park yappy hour from the minute you take out his leash. What more could you ask for in an adorable new family member!  Icicle wakes up at 7 AM and trots outside to practice going potty.
