This litter was born in our rescue to Mama Holiday on September 8th. Now that they’ve grown big and strong, they’re ready to find forever homes of their very own. This litter is 3 girls and 2 boys. We expect the puppies to be in the 6-13 pound range when they are fully grown, as they are quite different in size. What we do know is that each puppy is even more adorable than the last. These puppies will be light-medium shedders. If you’re ready to kickstart the holiday season with an adorable puppy, adopt a Holiday pup today! Ember (F): Ember is the confident and outgoing leader of her siblings. She enters every new adventure without fear as her tail wags at a million miles a minute. She adores her kitty and large lab foster siblings and makes everyone fall in love with her. She would love a huge collection of toys in her forever home as she is super playful, zooming around the pen with a plush stuffy as her siblings scamper along behind her. Once she’s had her fill of playing, she’s ready to curl up in your arms as you hold her like a little baby. She’s the perfect blend of energy that makes her the perfect addition to any home. Let Ember be the spark your home needs to kickstart the holiday season! Figgy (M): Figgy is a tiny little dude who has a heart larger than his entire body! He loves being held and is the baby of the litter, we think he may believe he’s an actual human baby from how often he’s scooped in the air for cuddles! Figgy may be small but he is totally fearless when he chases the big dogs around his foster home, snatching their toys and sprinting off to find his next adventure. Figgy thinks he is a world champion sprinter and we sure aren’t going to tell him otherwise. He loves being cuddled and is often found snoozing the afternoons away on the chest of his foster mom. Once we even found him in a hoodie pocket! Figgy is going to be a permanent puppy as he’s super tiny, so say hello to your new cutest purse addition! Scoop up some of this pudding and adopt Figgy! Joy (F): Joy is a sweet, loving, and adorable cutie pie who can’t wait to make herself the star of her forever home! She truly brings light and laughter wherever she goes. This girl holds her own when she wrestles with her larger littermates, even pinning down Toddy sometimes! She looked to us when this happened like “can I get some applause?” What a character she is! Joy loves making her presence known, whether with her zoomies, her squeaky toys, or her ability to always find an open lap to cuddle up in. She’s truly a one-in-a-million puppy who knows how to find her angle and knows how to flash her puppy dog eyes to get whatever she wants. It’s impossible to resist a puppy this cute, we’ve tried! Come and find some Joy this holiday season! Noel (F): Noel is a cuddly and loving girl who brings joy and yuletide celebration to any room she enters! Noel has a unique look that sets her apart from her siblings, and she uses that to her advantage to soak up all the cuddles and snuggles she can. This girl wants to be wherever her people are, trotting along behind you as you go about your chores in the house. She is curious and wants to explore the world around her as it changes by the day. She’s been enjoying pouncing on the falling leaves as fall comes to her foster home and it’s an absolute delight to watch her experience the world. Oh to be a puppy zooming around a pile of leaves. Noel is ready to make the season bright with her lucky forever home, so kickstart the holidays and bring this cutie home! Toddy (M): Toddy is a playful and happy-go-lucky little gentleman ready to spike his forever home’s punch with kisses and snuggles! Toddy loves playing with his littermates and resident dogs and would be an amazing addition to a home with a playful dog. However, he’s also ready to fly solo if you want your own playmate! He is all go go go until he’s tuckered himself out and then he’s ready to curl up in your arms and snuggle the hours away. We can picture him now, racing around a Christmas Tree farm to scope out the perfect fir before snoozing as a movie marathon plays on the TV. Charlie Brown? He’s ready! If you’re ready for a new best friend who would be an amazing addition to any adventure on your bucket list, you won’t find a better buddy than Toddy! The puppies wake up around 7 AM and head into their daytime pen for potty, playtime, and breakfast as their nighttime pen is cleaned out. During the day, they romp around and play with toys, chasing after each other as they scamper around the yard and living room. They alternate between playing and napping until lunchtime at 1 PM and dinner at 7 PM. They love to curl up together for naps and then play tag as they show off their zoomies on their ever-growing legs. In the evening, they play with the resident dogs until they tire themselves out and get ready for bed. They go into their pen for the night at 10 PM. The Holiday puppies have been well socialized with dogs of all sizes since birth. They have also met the resident cats and have been polite. They love people, from kids to those who are kids at heart and would be a fabulous addition to any family. Interested homes should be prepared to continue the training and socialization started by their foster mom. We expect these adorable pipsqueaks to be the center of their lucky forever families as they have charmed us all here at DPS Rescue! If you’re ready to haul out the holly, come and scoop up a Holiday puppy! The Holiday puppies are only an option for homes who have owned a dog of their own in the last 5 years. Kids should be over the age of 8. November 15, 2024, 5:23 pm
