You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Bowie, is a 2 yr old sweet Maltese/Poodle Mix puppy. At one point in his life he thought that he had a wonderful family, but when his owners decided to move they also decided to dump him in a Mexico shelter to be killed. Thankfully, a good samaritan took him in and asked for help, but for months no one stepped up to help Bowie. Until a friend of mine reached out to me to see if I could help this precious puppy. Of course I said YES, poor baby deserves a chance at a great life. I named him Bowie. Bowie, is now fully vetted, vaccinated, neutered and microchipped. He's so ready for a loving family and maybe even another friendly dog to bond and play with. This sweet tiny boy deserves the best!! He loves people, older considerate kids and other dogs his size. Bowie, is very smart, treat motivated so any additional training will be a snap. I can't tell you enough about Bowie, we all just love him so!!! he doesn't bother our cats uses the doggie door like a champ and loves watching Animal Planet on TV, he's an absolute gem. Meeko was an owner surrender to the shelter. His mom was unable to care for him after being with her for 8 years. She was absolutely devastated. The shelter said he was too awesome to stay in the shelter and that he should definitely go to a home or hope you love. He is a very easy going old man. He is about 10 lb fully vetted vaccinated to fix microchipped. He gets along with all dogs. He likes to follow you around and sleep most of the day. He loves to be held and would be a great companion for someone who has the time for him. He loves to go and walks and he loves going in the car.

Meet Hope! When Hope's mom and dad separated, neither of them were able to take care of her, leaving Hope in need of a new loving home. Hope is a special needs dog, being both blind and hearing impaired. She is trying to be brave, but adjusting to new places and people at this stage of her life is a bit overwhelming. Our hearts ache for this sweet girl, and we are searching for someone who will offer her the gentle care and love she deserves. Despite the upheaval in Hope's life, she is very sweet and melts in your lap. She enjoys spending time outdoors, wandering around in the yard or riding in a stroller, sniffing the fresh air, and listening to the birds chirping. Hope also enjoys car rides, mealtime, naps, and feeling the sunshine on her face. She does well with both cats and other dogs. Soon after Hope arrived, she went on a two-week Frosted Fling. After spending this time in a calm home, Hope became more relaxed and seemed to grow stronger, walking better and adjusting well to her environment. Her Fling Mom noticed that clapping her hands to let Hope know where she was helped Hope feel more comfortable and less startled. As Hope learned her way around her new surroundings, her spirits lifted. Hope's Fling Mom shares: "I am struck by how Hope's rough life hasn't diminished her spirit. Even though she is blind and nearly deaf, she enjoys wandering around the backyard in the morning sun, sniffing the air, and discovering who was there the night before. She loves food and often has a second breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Hope will stand still to be brushed and petted. Lastly, she is a great sleeper. It would be wonderful if she could spend her remaining days in a loving home." Hope is a gentle soul who needs a patient and understanding person who can meet her needs with compassion and care. Meet Izze! Izze entered the Humane Society of Imperial County as a stray. When she wasn't claimed, we scooped her up on November 18th to become a Frosted Face. Izze is around 8 years old and weighs 14 lbs. Izze is currently on a two-week Frosted Fling while she recovers from dental surgery to remove 25 unhealthy teeth. We are so grateful that Izze is receiving extra TLC in the comfort of a home. Please check back soon for an update on how this sweet girl is doing!

Meet Poppy Ambrose! After Poppy Ambrose was surrendered to Chesterfield Square Shelter (LA) by her owner, we scooped her up on December 7th to become a Frosted Face. She is 9 years old and weighs 12.5 lbs. Poppy is currently on a two-week Frosted Fling, and we are looking forward to learning more about her in a home environment. So far, we have learned that she loves to cuddle and enjoys being outside exploring and sniffing. Her Fling Mom says, "Poppy is such a sweetheart!!" Check back soon for the next update!
