Jojo is a 3 year old male Maltese and Shih Tzu Mix who was found by a fellow rescuer living alone in a housing complex with his brothers, Ranger and Bambino, after their owner passed away. Jojo is a happy and healthy boy despite his past adventures and ready for a stable home. He’s good with kids and other dogs. We hold an event every weekend at our facility on SATURDAY and SUNDAY 11-5pm and open to the public. It is first come first serve we do not evaluate applications prior to an event. If there are multiple interested parties in the same dog or puppy at the same time we would pick the best out of the 10 applications. Please visit our social media platforms for the specifics for each weekend as it changes from week to week. The Lovejoy Foundation, Inc. does not adopt beyond a 30 mile radius from our headquarters in Inglewood. Sometimes exceptions are made in a particular situation for an adopter further out than 30 miles which is at the discretion of the director.

Milo (pronounced Me-Lo) is a precious Maltese/Poodle mix. He's so tiny at only 10 pounds, but this little guy wants all the attention. He doesn't like other dogs or children. Milo is neutered, fully vaccinated. Potty trained, leash trained, enjoys long walks, and playing fetch. Can be anxious at times, and tends to bark a little. Hesitant when meeting new people, but once he gets to know you, he's very loving. This beautiful girl is Cici. Isn't she stunning? Cici is a 4 yr old, female, Poodle/Maltese mix that is about 16lbs of pure sweetness! Cici came to us when she was found dumped and abandoned on the streets in bad condition...flea infested, emaciated, and a broken leg. We got her the medical attention she needed including a surgery to repair her leg and now she is one happy, healthy, and grateful little pup! Cici is a dog that must definitely have another sweet and playful dog in the home. If you don't have another dog, she has a best friend, Tali, a 2 yr old, female, Maltese/Terrier mix that she can be adopted with. Once she feels comfy and safe, she will open up and just play, play, play! A home with a safe/secure backyard would be ideal along with owners that are not gone long hours during the day. Cici is excellent in the car and seems to be potty trained with outdoor access. She still needs a little polishing with walking on leash, but she is very smart and a very quick learner. A home that will allow her on furniture and dote on her like she deserves is exactly what she needs. Sweet Cici is such an amazing dog that we know that perfect forever home is out there for her! **PLEASE READ ALL REQUIREMENTS BEFORE INQUIRING-thank you** This very pretty and peppy little girl is Shelby! She is a 5 month old, 15lb Maltipoo (maltese/poodle mix) that is the cutest thing ever! Sweet Shelby was purchased as an 8 week old puppy in Tijuana by a guy who bought her for his girlfriend, but not more than a month later they no longer wanted her and were going to dump her. Thankfully, a young woman who was a friend of these people, intervened and reached out to us to see if we could take her into our foundation....and we said yes! Shelby is very high energy and ALL puppy! We are looking for puppy savvy owners that are VERY active and have another young and playful dog in the home. She CANNOT be an "only" dog. If you do not have another dog, we do have a couple of dogs to choose from that she can be adopted with that are her best friends and that she does very well with. Shelby is a dog that needs a home with a safe/secure backyard to run around in. She is too high energy to be an apartment dog. We are looking for owners that are home most of the day/work from home and will be there to supervise her. She is still very young and picks up and chews everything she sees. Shelby is a spirited, fun, happy, playful, and energetic dog that needs owners that are loving, patient, and nurturing. This little girl was tossed out with owners that did not ever care, so we are looking for the best forever home for her! Shelby is vaccinated, microchipped, and will be spayed when ready.
