Story
Kiki is a handsome Maine Coon brown tabby mix male born approximately 5/24/2022. Kiki was found outside by a citizen who cared for him, but could not keep him. He is a very loving boy who likes to sit on your lap, purr, and make biscuits, before taking a well deserved nap after playtime with his toys. He is curious and likes to play.  Kiki is very well-behaved, affectionate, loves to be rubbed, scratched and stroked, is responsive to his foster, and comes when called. He follows his person around like a puppy dog.  Although quite timid at first, Kiki will soon settle happily into a quiet, calm home (with no dogs, as he isn't a fan...) This sweet boy deserves to have all the comforts of life inside with a loving family. Kiki is microchipped and currently in a foster home. His adoption fee is $105.July 6, 2024, 10:03 am

Story
Harker is the bravest kitten in her litter, much like her namesake- Jonathan Harker from Dracula.   Even though she’s very brave, this little girl looks like she has seen some… stuff. But despite her haunted and shocked expression, Harker is an absolute sweetheart of a kitten and is on the hunt for vampires, fun, and her forever home. She’d love to live in a big gothic castle, but she will forgive you if you have castle taste on a studio apartment budget. As long as you have time to give her love, attention, vet care, and snacks.  Like most kittens, Harker loves kitty companions and would love to be adopted into a home with a resident cat or with one of her siblings (Maybe Applebottom or Robin?) Harker is too young to be eligible for a full adoption. However, she is eligible for our Foster-to-Adopt program!  Foster-to-Adopt Program Details We are an all-volunteer, foster-based, non-profit organization We don’t have a physical location; all cats and kittens live in foster homes until they are formally adopted. Our foster-to-adopt program allows us to match cats and kittens with their forever family before they’re eligible for adoption. Eligible cats and kittens are placed in a foster’s home with the intention of adoption after required medical care is completed. Foster-to-Adopt foster parents are required to schedule and bring their cats(s) and/or kitten(s) to veterinary appointments at the Animal Medical Center of Richardson as needed.  Foster-to-adopters must meet all of the eligibility requirements RHS has for adopters.  Cats and kittens eligible for our foster-to-adopt program must pay a $50 non-refundable deposit at time of drop-off that will be deducted from the animal’s adoption fee of $125.    RHS Adoption Process and Requirements Meet the Adoption Criteria. Before you do anything else, make sure you meet our adoption criteria. You must be at least 21 years old. You must live within a 60-mile radius of Richardson, Texas. You must share veterinary records for all pets currently in your home and all pets owned in the last five years. All pets in the home must be spayed or neutered and up to date on vaccinations and on a flea/heartworm preventative. If you rent your home, you must provide verification that pets are allowed on the property. You must be willing to be interviewed by an adoption counselor and you must undergo a home visit by an RHS representative. Phone Interview. Compatible applicants will be forwarded to a counselor who will contact the applicant for a phone interview. Home Visit.  If all the steps above are completed satisfactorily, we will coordinate a virtual home visit. We’ll request you send videos/pictures of your home to verify it is safe and welcoming for the cat. Meet and Greet. Once your home visit is complete, we can coordinate a time with you and the foster parent/s to meet the kitty you’re interested in.  Complete Adoption. If all feel it is a good match, we will schedule the adoption at your home or an off-site location. The applicant will need to complete the adoption contract and pay the adoption fee. Our adoption fee is $125 for cats, and payable by Paypal, Venmo, cash, or check. Discounts are available for senior-aged pets. ##2078816##

Story
Robin has the softest fur and the cutest little fur mask on his face. Despite looking like part of a crime fighting duo, Robin has reported that he’d commit *a lot* of crimes for a good snack. Good day? Time for a snack. Bad day? Time for a snack. Got tickets to the Chapell Roan concert? Time for a snack. Didn’t get tickets to the Chappell Roan concert? Time to cry AND have a snack. Just had a snack? Time for a snack! Truly, this kiddo’s capacity and love for snacks is endless. But even more than a good snack, Robin is looking for his forever home where he can be loved and cherished. He’d love to be adopted with one of his siblings like Harker or Cheez! Robin is too young to be eligible for a full adoption. Story
This sweet little girl is full of fluff, sass, and verve for life! She's always ready to play and would love to be adopted with either Gimli or Legolas!  We don’t DNA test our kittens, but we think Arwen looks like she could be a Maine coon-type mix. Most cats in the US are made up of a variety of different breeds, and we think Arwen falls into that category as well. Either way, we know she’s 100% cute! Arwen is too young to be eligible for a full adoption.
