Story
Spooky is a 30lb female cat with a loud personality. She was surrendered by a previous owner due to an eviction. We were unaware of her lack of socialization when we decided to take her home to our 2 cat household and she has struggled to feel comfortable in our household even being isolated from our other cats. Previously her original owner described her as very sweet, loving, and a very cuddly cat. We're afraid because of her age and lack of socialization she won't ever be able to adjust to our busy and somewhat chaotic household. Looking for someone with patience and no other pets to give her proper care and a happy home.

Story
MAINE COON WANNABE  DOB 6/24/23 Perseus may have exaggerated a little when filling out his online bio. He was just trying to get more people to swipe right. His brother Achilles was getting all the inquiries, and he was feeling a little left out. This sad guy is not the most outgoing or the fluffiest, but he has a heart of gold and a fragile ego. Perseus is a first-rate snuggler, and he comes alive when BirdTV is turned on. Are you willing to give this underdog a chance? HOPE ID 24-0124-G019 If you are interested in Perseus and would like to fill out an online Cat Adoption Application, please go to http://www.homelesspets.net/adoption-forms/cat-adoption.php . Submitting an application does not obligate you to adopt, but it initiates contact with us and gets the process started.  If you have questions prior to filling out the application or want to find out which adoption site this feline will be this week-end, email us at hope@homelesspets.net , and a volunteer will get back to you.July 2, 2024, 12:43 am

Story
Very loving, gentle and easy-going young cat. Justin is a cat that will wait by the door to greet you when you come home. Justin is a loving and cuddly boy, very affectionate and enjoys human attention. He is bonded to his brother Leo (also in this website), they grew up together and they both had been trough a lot, we would like for them to stay together. Justin and Leo where indoors pets since tiny kittens, sadly their owner put them outside once they were no longer kittens. These two sweet boys are looking for a stress-free environment with a stable family. They may not do well with kids and dogs because they had faced aggression from them in the past. Justin and Leo are neutered, vaccinated, microchiped and tested negative for FIV/FeLV. they are ready to go to their forever home. Write to Adoptablecatshouston@gmail.com, if you think your home is a fit for this sweet boy and his sibling.June 27, 2024, 11:23 am

Story
Maggie was a stray feral kitten that was picked up by a high kill shelter and immediately adopted out, spayed, picked up from shelter by adopter only to be returned after two days for being too feral. When I saw she was returned for being too feral I knew she would be EU by this shelter, so I went and adopted her. I adopted her in April of 2023, so Maggie is a little over a year old. I have two medium size dogs, which Maggie is used to being around. I also have four other cats all ranging in age from 3 to 14 years old (1 male, 3 females). Maggie makes the 4th female. Maggie is aggressive to the other females, especially 2 of them. I am not new to acclimating cats into a new environment, I have tried everything. Maggie needs a less active environment and preferably an only cat home or a low key male. Maggie comes to me to be picked up and loves pets, but as soon as I set down she wants down. Maggie needs a patient adopter.
