Purry Mason is a curious little kitten with the cutest, most inquisitive face and a zest for playtime and exploration. This fluffy boy started his life out on the mean streets and was found and brought inside by his foster family as a teeny two week old baby. They quickly discovered how much Purry loves to eat, and with lots of TLC, he graduated from bottle feeding to eating kitten food on his own and he hasn't stopped thriving since!Purry's hobbies include climbing, romping, jumping, chasing toys, meeting new friends, and being professionally adorable. While he's not on track to pass the bar exam like his namesake, this kitten is one smart cookie and we think he could win over the toughest judges around. Purry Mason will be happiest in a home with another cat friend to play with, whether that's another kitten pal or a resident cat who can show him the ropes!  We don't DNA test our kittens. Most cats and kittens in the US are a mix of breeds and we suspect the same is true for Purry Mason. He looks like he might be Maine coon mix (or other longhair mix). Either way, we know he's 100% cute!  Purry is too young to be eligible for a full adoption. However, he is eligible for our Foster-to-Adopt program!  Foster-to-Adopt Program Details We are an all-volunteer, foster-based, non-profit organization We don’t have a physical location; all cats and kittens live in foster homes until they are formally adopted. Our foster-to-adopt program allows us to match cats and kittens with their forever family before they’re eligible for adoption. Eligible cats and kittens are placed in a foster’s home with the intention of adoption after required medical care is completed. Foster-to-Adopt foster parents are required to schedule and bring their cats(s) and/or kitten(s) to veterinary appointments at the Animal Medical Center of Richardson as needed.  Foster-to-adopters must meet all of the eligibility requirements RHS has for adopters.  Cats and kittens eligible for our foster-to-adopt program must pay a $50 non-refundable deposit at time of drop-off that will be deducted from the animal’s adoption fee of $125.    RHS Adoption Process and Requirements Meet the Adoption Criteria. Before you do anything else, make sure you meet our adoption criteria. You must be at least 21 years old. You must live within a 60-mile radius of Richardson, Texas. You must share veterinary records for all pets currently in your home and all pets owned in the last five years. All pets in the home must be spayed or neutered and up to date on vaccinations and on a flea/heartworm preventative. If you rent your home, you must provide verification that pets are allowed on the property. You must be willing to be interviewed by an adoption counselor and you must undergo a home visit by an RHS representative. Phone Interview. Compatible applicants will be forwarded to a counselor who will contact the applicant for a phone interview. Home Visit.  If all the steps above are completed satisfactorily, we will coordinate a virtual home visit. We’ll request you send videos/pictures of your home to verify it is safe and welcoming for the cat. Meet and Greet. Once your home visit is complete, we can coordinate a time with you and the foster parent/s to meet the kitty you’re interested in.  Complete Adoption. If all feel it is a good match, we will schedule the adoption at your home or an off-site location. The applicant will need to complete the adoption contract and pay the adoption fee. Meet Coconut, the cutest, fluffiest little kitten around! This girl is one sweet tabby baby who loves to play and explore her environment and hasn't met a friend she doesn't like- cat, dog, or human! Coconut was found alone and scared at a park and was brought into an area shelter while some of our volunteers were there looking at kittens to tag. When they saw her tiny face and heard her little meows, they knew they needed to get her into the rescue and help her find the best forever home.Coconut would love to have a cat sibling to romp and play with, whether that's another kitten in our rescue or a resident cat in her forever home. Meet Mr. Darcy a Maine Coon mix born mid May 2022. He is a spirited and affectionate floofball who adores climbing. Mr. Darcy was previously adopted to a loving home, where he thrived alongside other cats but felt overwhelmed by energetic dogs. Mr. Darcy aka Max is a chatty, playful companion who craves head scratches and ear rubs. He enjoys feline company, toys, playtime, and climbing adventures but would prefer a home with calm dogs or none at all. Meet Azalea! Azalea is a gorgeous Maine Coon mix born early 2022. Azalea`s story is a true testament to the power of love and determination! She had a home and knew love at some point, her demeanor suggested so. But somewhere along the line she was failed, whether intentionally or not she was forced to defend for herself unspayed and vulnerable to all the dangers cats like her face. Despite it all, she has a forgiving heart and a sweetness that only comes from a loyal and loving cat. She enjoys being spoiled with pets and belly scratches and all the comforts a home provides. She is confident and doesn`t take no for an answer. She knows how sweet and safe life can be and she wanted that for her babies. Azalea is living proof that kindness can change lives! She doesn`t mind other calm cats and dogs that will leave her alone but wouldn`t mind having her very own person all to herself! She is fully vetted and has excellent litter manners. Meet Cora! Cora is a stunning Maine Coon mix born in mid March 2024. Cora enjoys making biscuits and is a total purr machine. She uses the litter box like a pro. Oonie is a sweet girl and the only thing I would say is to love her and be sweet to her because she will do the same back.

Goose - he is very playful and confident. He's sweet and friendly, likes to "talk" to you, is good with other cats and dogs.

Mixie wants all the attention to be on her. I pray she is loved and wanted wherever she goes, she deserves it, all pets do. I can’t give he the love she desires and that she requires and it’s not fair for either of us. sometimes I call her Mixie Max or Mix. Or Big Head Cat. We got her Nov 5 when she was just about a month old.

This sweet little girl was in my backyard and she's so sweet and friendly and came right up to me. Took her to the vet. They think she is about 1-2 years old. Super cuddly and loves to just be around you! Happy to donate all the food/litter/toys I brought for her to her new home. All up to date on vaccinations. And is spayed!
