Story
Small, sweet and shy 3 year old Maine Coon. She would be best in a single cat home, indoors. Our other cats pick on her. She is tiny, calm and fairly timid. She has never been around dogs, but I don't think she would do well, due to her problems with being around other cats. She loves playing with anything attached to a string & is fine with adults and kids. If she doesn't want to play or have the attention, she will hide until she is comfortable with the situation. She usually hides when people initially come over, but will come out once she sees what the situation is like. She does not hide from anyone that lives in our household or from people that come over regularly. She had never been outside. She loves to lay and snuggle NEAR you, but not in your lap, she is very independent. She loves long pets & brushes from her neck all the way to her tail. She had the prettiest & softest long, smooth coat that does NOT get matted. She likes to be brushed everywhere except her tummy

Story
I need a family to love. I grew up in a home with many other cats but we were put outside when the home was repossessed. I’m friendly and get along well with other cats. I’m cautious but tolerant of the dog in my foster home as long as he is nice to me. I'm just glad to be back indoors with regular food again. I’d like to eat all the time, but you'd better measure my meals as I don’t know when to stop eating. And I need a big carrier as I’m not a fan of going in them. Zena tested negative for FeLV and FIV, is spayed, microchipped for identification, and vaccinated for rabies and FVRCP. Email BCSSpayDay@gmail.com for an adoption application and to discuss if she is a good fit for your home. You can meet her at our adoption events from 2:30-5 pm most Saturdays at the College Station PetSmart on University (back by the cat litter).

Story
A pair from the same colony, White Feet was too friendly to release – she kept trying to get into people’s cars. Brewer was not released due to bad weather and construction at the site. Brewer is timid and needs support, which White Feet provides. She loves on him, washes, and cuddles him. Both like to be petted & scratched but need work on being picked up. They will be great companions for someone patient with them. Brewer tested negative for FeLV and FIV, is neutered, microchipped for identification, and vaccinated for rabies and FVRCP. Brewer & White Feet seek a home together. Email BCSSpayDay@gmail.com for an adoption application and to discuss if they are a good fit for your home. Once approved, we can meet you to complete the adoption.
