Story
Meet Mimi, a declawed Maine Coon mix, born in 2018. She came to Saving Hope when her elderly owner could no longer care for her. The chaos of leaving the only home she had ever known triggered a past issue with stress-induced bladder stones that caused a blockage. She had surgery to remove them, and now this beautiful girl is ready for her forever home.Mimi is a super sweet, smart, playful girl with gorgeous looks to match her stellar personality. She loves being brushed, which is needed to maintain her luscious long coat and prevent hairballs. Mimi enjoys chasing toys and is a catnip lover. She is initially cautious in new places but warms up within a couple days. Mimi is a quiet girl with a very tiny meow. She is very serious about being petted and will gently paw your arm and meow if you stop! Mimi has never lived with another animal before and is sensitive to loud noises, so she would do best as an only pet with older children. She eats prescription urinary food to keep her healthy. Although Mimi needs daily brushing and special food, she is easy to please and just wants a couch to lounge on and a person to love that loves her too. She is vetted and has excellent litterbox manners. She would like to be an only pet.Saving Hope supports all kitties keeping their claws. Mimi was surrendered to us declawed. You must submit an application to be considered for adoption. We cannot reply to all inquiries, but respond to all no obligation applications. Story
Meet Azalea! Azalea is a gorgeous Maine Coon mix born early 2022. Azalea's story is a true testament to the power of love and determination! She had a home and knew love at some point, her demeanor suggested so. But somewhere along the line she was failed, whether intentionally or not she was forced to defend for herself unspayed and vulnerable to all the dangers cats like her face. Despite it all, she has a forgiving heart and a sweetness that only comes from a loyal and loving cat. She enjoys being spoiled with pets and belly scratches and all the comforts a home provides. She is confident and doesn't take no for an answer. She knows how sweet and safe life can be and she wanted that for her babies. Azalea is living proof that kindness can change lives! She doesn't mind other calm cats and dogs that will leave her alone but wouldn't mind having her very own person all to herself! She is fully vetted and has excellent litter manners. You must submit an application to be considered for adoption. We cannot reply to all inquiries, but respond to all no obligation applications. Story
If I had any other choice I would not be rehoming him. He is a wonderful cat. He is friendly and very cuddly. He is a certified ESA, and has a great personality. He just needs a good home where he isn't competing for attention with his siblings. I recently moved and ever since he has been picking fights with the other 2 cats in the house. It's getting worse and I don't want to see any of them suffering because they are not getting along anymore. I do not want to rehome him, this choice is made purely out of concern for the health of all 3 cats. I am unsure if his shots are current at this time but I will get his boosters before he is rehomed, if they are needed. (Still looking for their shot records after the move.) Message me if you have any questions or interest in adopting my beautiful boy.

My youngest daughter was given a cat, but unfortunately, there was an aggressive dog in the house already. I took Todd Wick in to prevent a horrible tragedy from happening. He is BEYOND a cuddle bug, almost needy for attention, and a typical “lap cat”. Playful, healthy, and a very sweet boy.

Story
Harker is the bravest kitten in her litter, much like her namesake- Jonathan Harker from Dracula.   Even though she’s very brave, this little girl looks like she has seen some… stuff. But despite her haunted and shocked expression, Harker is an absolute sweetheart of a kitten and is on the hunt for vampires, fun, and her forever home. She’d love to live in a big gothic castle, but she will forgive you if you have castle taste on a studio apartment budget. As long as you have time to give her love, attention, vet care, and snacks.  Like most kittens, Harker loves kitty companions and would love to be adopted into a home with a resident cat or with one of her siblings (Maybe Applebottom or Robin?) Harker is too young to be eligible for a full adoption. However, she is eligible for our Foster-to-Adopt program!  Foster-to-Adopt Program Details We are an all-volunteer, foster-based, non-profit organization We don’t have a physical location; all cats and kittens live in foster homes until they are formally adopted. Our foster-to-adopt program allows us to match cats and kittens with their forever family before they’re eligible for adoption. Eligible cats and kittens are placed in a foster’s home with the intention of adoption after required medical care is completed. Foster-to-Adopt foster parents are required to schedule and bring their cats(s) and/or kitten(s) to veterinary appointments at the Animal Medical Center of Richardson as needed.  Foster-to-adopters must meet all of the eligibility requirements RHS has for adopters.  Cats and kittens eligible for our foster-to-adopt program must pay a $50 non-refundable deposit at time of drop-off that will be deducted from the animal’s adoption fee of $125.    RHS Adoption Process and Requirements Meet the Adoption Criteria. Before you do anything else, make sure you meet our adoption criteria. You must be at least 21 years old. You must live within a 60-mile radius of Richardson, Texas. You must share veterinary records for all pets currently in your home and all pets owned in the last five years. All pets in the home must be spayed or neutered and up to date on vaccinations and on a flea/heartworm preventative. If you rent your home, you must provide verification that pets are allowed on the property. You must be willing to be interviewed by an adoption counselor and you must undergo a home visit by an RHS representative. Phone Interview. Compatible applicants will be forwarded to a counselor who will contact the applicant for a phone interview. Home Visit.  If all the steps above are completed satisfactorily, we will coordinate a virtual home visit. We’ll request you send videos/pictures of your home to verify it is safe and welcoming for the cat. Meet and Greet. Once your home visit is complete, we can coordinate a time with you and the foster parent/s to meet the kitty you’re interested in.  Complete Adoption. If all feel it is a good match, we will schedule the adoption at your home or an off-site location. The applicant will need to complete the adoption contract and pay the adoption fee. Our adoption fee is $125 for cats, and payable by Paypal, Venmo, cash, or check. Discounts are available for senior-aged pets. ##2078816##

Story
Robin has the softest fur and the cutest little fur mask on his face. Despite looking like part of a crime fighting duo, Robin has reported that he’d commit *a lot* of crimes for a good snack. Good day? Time for a snack. Bad day? Time for a snack. Got tickets to the Chapell Roan concert? Time for a snack. Didn’t get tickets to the Chappell Roan concert? Time to cry AND have a snack. Just had a snack? Time for a snack! Truly, this kiddo’s capacity and love for snacks is endless. But even more than a good snack, Robin is looking for his forever home where he can be loved and cherished. He’d love to be adopted with one of his siblings like Harker or Cheez! This sweet little girl is full of fluff, sass, and verve for life! She's always ready to play and would love to be adopted with either Gimli or Legolas!  We don’t DNA test our kittens, but we think Arwen looks like she could be a Maine coon-type mix. Most cats in the US are made up of a variety of different breeds, and we think Arwen falls into that category as well. Either way, we know she’s 100% cute! Story
Meet Turbinado a Siberian mix girl born February 2023. She and her siblings were born outside 2 days before Valentines Day 2023. Fortunately for this family was found by a Good Samaritan. Now she's ready for adoption.Turbo (her nickname from the start) was because she was always the first to let everyone know it was meal time - she meowed the loudest. Once she learned to run and play - her speed was either Turbo - or sound asleep. Turbinado has mellowed quite a lot. She is still a playful girl, but is somewhat shy and reserved, She gets along well with all of the other kittens in the fosters home, and most days prefers the 4 legged members of the house to the 2 legged ones. She will need time to acclimate to a new home, but she's a sweet girl. She has excellent litter manners. You must submit an application to be considered for adoption.
