Story
PLEASE READ DESCRIPTION: Edgar is an adult Maine Coon. He is a big, cuddly boy. Edgar needs a diet of good quality wet food, not dry. He has problems with constipation. He has tested positive for FIV, but is in good health. Recent dental. He will be stressed by other male cats and will be aggressive, but is fine if those other cats are calm. He gets along with females okay. He does not like dogs. He is very affectionate and sweet toward people. He is stressed around small children. Edgar needs in an adopter who has a good relationship with their vet. Edgar is trained to allow claw clipping and likes carriers. He will need frequent claw trims. He is very good with medical care, including oral medication and fluids. He is a large cat, and Maine Coons are smart and need a lot of enrichment in their environment in order to not become destructive out of boredom. The right adopter will understand that a large long haired Maine Coon will need certain additions in their environment and diet. We are not sure exactly how old Edgar is, but we suspect over eight years.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Adoption Fee $200 I have the perfect personality to match my stunning good looks. I'm a quiet, affectionate kitty that would make any human smile.  I'm extremely easy going and I will greet you with rubs and head bops. I would be perfect company hanging out next to you while you watch a movie or read a book all while giving me pets, of course. I'm a princess and will want your attention.  I’ll roll around on my back and purr quietly in appreciation. I enjoy a high perch where I can oversee what’s happening, but I also take delight in playing with a wand toy and will drag it off if you’re not paying attention. I get along quite well with my foster mates so I would like a home with another friendly feline. My longer coat will require some extra brushing to maintain my gorgeous mane. Therefore, an adopter with personal owner experience with long-haired breeds as well as complete documented history of yearly feline veterinary care is required. Lady Gwendolyn tested FeLV/FIV/HW negative, is UTD on vaccines, has been dewormed, microchipped, and spayed.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.January 6, 2025, 11:50 am

Story
We prefer adopters to live within 1 hour of Claymont, DE 19703. Introducing Brutus. We were contacted about 2 cats that were outside. They were being fed and the feeder knew they needed to be spayed/neutered or there would be more. The feeder said they weren’t totally feral and scared cats. They were reserved to protect themselves. The feeder named him Brutus because he was always bullying and picking on his sister. The feeder took in the female and we took Brutus into rescue. Brutus continues to bully the others so he will probably do best as the only cat. He needs to be dog tested. Brutus eats like a horse because he is huge like one. He is playful and funny. He enjoys being brushed and petted. If you would like to meet this handsome boy please request an application by emailing us at AOLanimalrescue@gmail.com.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Online  Adoption Application THE FOLLOWING CATS ARE BEING CARED FOR IN A LOVING MCR FOSTER HOME. Savanah was rescued in Florida after being an outside cat and was fostered down there. The foster was unable to continue after her housing changed and Savannah was brought to another foster in Pennsylvania. Savannah is a very sweet girl who tends to be a little shy at first, but once she has established trust, she is very affectionate, giving head butts, purring, and making biscuits.  Unlike most cats, Savanah loves having her belly rubbed and will likely roll over on her back to receive them. She will then settle in curling up next to you and go to sleep. Savanah tends to hide when in a new situation, especially people she doesn’t know. She is not a playful kitty, necessarily, but leaves a few toys out, especially the crinkly balls, and she will tear them apart. She appears to like to play on her own time as the toys are moved in the morning. She seems to be good around other cats but gets skittish if the other cat is an alpha. It would be best to go to a home with one or two cats only. She should be okay with calm dogs. Savannah has not been around small children. Due to her shy nature, it would be best for her to go to a home with older children. She needs a home that is quiet and people who are willing to give her time to adjust. Savannah loves to be brushed. Savannah has excellent litter box habits, but she needs one with a lid because she is rather wild in it! It looks like a tornado touched down! Savannah's adoption fee is $200.00. This includes spay, updated Rabies Vaccine, updated FVRCP Vaccine, wellness exam, dental cleaning, dewormer, flea prevention, combo test (neg/neg), and microchip. Savannah is available for adoption within 100 miles of Norristown, PA. The adopter needs to be willing to meet halfway. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Please contact Jennifer (jenniferburgess54@gmail.com) for more information about this pet. Online  Adoption Application Striking Brown Tabby Maine Coon Mix Minnie is scouting for her ideal home, and you may be in her sights! She is an independent, gentle young lady who has been in foster care much longer than she should have been through no fault of her own. In the time she has been in foster care, she has blossomed into a striking adult with a beautiful coat that needs only an occasional brushing, Although not reclusive, she tends to be a loner who has never bonded with any of the other cats but co-mingles with them without issues. Minnie is quite content entertaining herself and loves sleeping in her hammock. Her favorite toys are those that involve balls especially the tower of tracks. She has had only minimal exposure to a dog but she was more indifferent than frightened or curious. Minnie does well with children so long as they are respectful and gentle and understand she does not like to be picked up. Minnie is more of a companion cat than a lap cat and will take a while to get comfortable but she is calm, gentle and friendly. Minnie will make a lucky family very happy with lots of companionship and play. Will you be the lucky family that Minnie is searching for? The only way to find out is to apply to adopt! **Minnie was previously adopted but returned after a month because she wasn't the type of cat they were seeking. They assured the rescue that she had done nothing wrong but they are seeking a lap cat cat who is more cuddly. Minnie did well with their preschool-age daughter.** Minnie is available within a 250-mile radius of St Albans, WV. We request that the adopter meet at least halfway: otherwise, there is an $85 transport fee. For more information, please contact Jennifer at jenniferburgess54@gmail.com.
