Story
Felix, a petite Maine Coon mix, came into my life when I bought my house in 2019. He was solely an outdoor cat, but I started bringing him indoors and installed a cat door so he could come and go as he pleased, and do his business. As he will be 11 years old around April 18, 2026, he spends most of his time indoors sleeping belly up in the sunshine. He is a very kind and gentle cat who loves to be loved and held like a baby. He's a different sort of feline that seems more like a dog, as he will follow you around and want to be in your general vicinity. He needs a companion who will be there for him. Unfortunately, I am relocating to a place where he cannot come along. He does not jump on counters, nor does he claw at anything but his scratching lounger. He has a very calm demeanor and lets you trim his claws— vets and groomers love him! I am sure he could learn to use the litter box with another cat around to show him. Can negotiate adoption fee.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Mary is a beautiful long-haired girl who. would love to be adopted with Pawla. My name is Mary and I am a very affectionate young lady.  A kind man and woman saved me from the cold in the winter and now I am ready for my forever home.  I just love being with people, and having all the attention!  I am very laid back.  I am FIV positive and would do best in a home with another FIV positive cat or I can be your one and only.  Please read about FIV below.  There is nothing to be afraid of -- I am not contagious and I can live a long happy, healthy life.   If you want to make my dreams come true, please contact my foster mom at nearinc2004@yahoo.com if you are ready to meet me.  What is FIV?  Feline Immunodeficiency Virus(FIV) is a virus that attacks the immune system of cats.  There is no treatment or cure.  FIV is a cat-only disease and cannot be transmitted to people or dogs.  FIV+ cats should be kept indoors to prevent exposure to illness, sterilized and fed a balanced diet.  They should be seen by a veterinarian at least once a year to ensure their ongoing good health. Transmission:  FIV is passed from cat to cat mainly through deep bite wounds, the kind that occur during fights and territorial disputes involving feral and unsterilized males.  Casual, social behavior such as sharing a water/food bowl and mutual grooming will NOT spread FIV.  There is no evidence that cats in the household with an FIV+ cat will acquire FIV from the FIV+ cat. Lifespan:  Multiple medical studies show that cats who are FIV+ live just as long as FIV-negative cats.  FIV itself does not cause severe clinical signs, and FIV+ cats can live many years without any health problems.    For additional information contact your veterinarian.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.July 21, 2025, 10:41 pm

Story
Mother had kittens in a barn. I’ve had him since then (2012). After I had my son in 2023 his behavior became territorial. Marking his space. We moved him to our basement area for him to have his own space and has started to do the same. He wants to be a lap cat, be petted, and his head rubbed. Very kind and gentle. He’s only ever been indoors. Comes with automatic kitty liter box

Story
My fiancé and I are unfortunately actively seeking to rehome a cat. Not originally his, he has cared for her 3 years. He was told she is a Maine Coon Tuxedo cat. She has been to the vet previously but is not up to date on shots. Only an indoor cat. Figaro, as she is called, does not like nor gets along with other cats or dogs and while he has been able to separate her in his home it has not been ideal and the space too small for her. Our new home does not afford us the opportunity to give her a space away from the other animals or the chance to be playful and opportunity to seek out human affection. She is curious and loves to play with toys and if given opportunities will explore cupboards. Though independent, she will still seek out leg rubs and a head scratch on her own terms. She loves food-any type and has been known to reach into a bowl from time to time to share in a snack. Below is a picture of her. She is 7 years old and is spayed.

Story
We got Nimbus from PetsMart in White Oak, Garner, NC at 4 months old. He immediately liked to sleep in our necks every night. He is extremely cuddly. As he grew, he stayed very gangly. He seems to have an irritable bowl issue, but it doesn't seem to hurt him. He was tested at the vet and they found no signs of issues other than irritable bowels. He does not hear very well and is not very aware of situations due to the limited hearing. He is very sweet and loves people so much. We have since gotten dogs and his temperament changed drastically. He no longer likes the other cats he has been around his whole life, and hates the dogs.

Story
Chai was an outside kitty at the time we adopted her she's around three now. We're looking for a new family that can give her more space, will be able to play with her more, has windows for her to sunbathe in, and has time to take her outside safely in there off time. She's a bit timid and jumpy at times but is an absolute sweetie especially when you kneel and let her sniff you and give her lots of treats and wet food. She's very loyal, doesn't want to leave to run away just to lay in some grass or watch birds and squirrels. Very cuddly but will get overstimulated after awhile. Hates bathes but is forgiving and patient. She's shown some signs of being territorial at times.

Story
Four kittens looking for a home. They are ready to leave their momma at this point, and momma is getting fixed on October 30th so there will be no more kittens after this litter. Jasper, Slate, and Topaz are males, and Emerald is a female. Kittens are not old enough to be spayed/neutered yet. All are sweet kittens with plenty of spunk, and they do well with being handled. They are all litter box trained. Contact me with any questions, inquiries, or to reserve one or all four.
