Story
Cosmo is a big boy and just stunning! He’s a Maine Coon mix who was saved from a Kuwait market. Cosmo has traveled all this way to avoid life in a cage or worse. He’s playful and outgoing but he’s a whole lot of cat. He may be too much for small or shy cats. He does live with other dogs, confident cats and children. Cosmo is fixed, up to date on vaccinations, treated for fleas and ticks, microchipped and FIV negative.

Story
Meet Boots! Boots is a 10 year handsome gray and white tuxedo coon mix looking for his forever home! He came to us recently due to the child in the home developing allergies. Boots is extremely affectionate and very social. He loves curling up in your lap or on your leg while you are watching TV. The ideal home for Boots would be one where he can be the only pet. He also needs a home that doesn't mind regularly brushing his long, soft locks! Boots is neutered and up to date on vaccines. Please email us at jerseyaws@gmail.com or call 848 332 0411 with any questions! *Boots is currently eating a urinary diet that is high in moisture. A home with experience with appropriate hydration for male cats would be fantastic, or an adopter that has done their research on a moisture-rich diet for cats!

Story
This is my very best buddy, Ginger! This is a very painful and incredibly difficult decision, but I want to do the best for my sweet Gingiebear. He is 8 years old and he is a bit of a chonker; weighing about 18-20 pounds still in the process of weight loss. Don’t let his age or weight fool you, he’s a very playful boy and loves to bop is buddy, Mr Mistoffelees (unfortunately also needs to be rehoused) and cuddle next to him. I will list both Ginger and Mr.Mistoffelees and hopefully maybe they can be rehomed together to a loving home 💖

Story
How beautiful is Marilyn? We named her that because of the cute little beauty mark near her mouth and also because she's a glamour cat! This gorgeous, easygoing Maine Coon mix loves people and adores being petted and cuddled. She does not seem to care for other cats, so we think she'd be happiest as your only pet and the queen of your household. It's hard to believe this beauty was found on the street in Canarsie, but it's a good thing we scooped her up just as the cold weather was setting in. She's now warm and safe and ready for her furrever home! Marilyn is about 1 year old and healthy. She is spayed and microchipped, up to date on vaccinations and has tested FeLV/FIV negative. As a special breed, Marilyn's adoption fee is $250. If you would like to meet Marilyn, please fill out our application here: https://brooklynanimalaction.org/adoption-forms/ . Make sure you click on Marilyn, then identify CLAIRE as the RESCUER and fill out the form! Thank you for considering a rescued angel! Every dime goes to save another homeless kitty on the street. Story
Sassy is a medium-haired calico with buttery soft fur and a side of tortietude. Sassy was surrendered to us in November by a young girl who could no longer care for her. She's about 2 years old, and we recently got her spayed and up-to-date on appropriate vaccines. She can take some time to feel comfortable and will need a patient and cat-savvy adopter. Some background on Sassy: She hid for the first week after arriving in her foster home, but now she loves to play with her foster parents and enjoys petting, company, and watching Hallmark Christmas movies. Sassy has a lot of potential, she just needs time and slow introductions when settling into her new home! She doesn't seem to like dogs too much so a dog-free household would be ideal. There seems to be interest in other cats, but we are still assessing her around the cats in her foster home.
